Sunlight Burns
Chapter 7
Helena's P.O.V.
I was feeling anxious like I had to see CC again. As a vampire I can read thoughts but not his. I did however read another member of his band's the lead singer, Andy I believe his name is. He and the rest of the guys were planning on taking CC out tonight. I had to see him and have a conversation for more than 2 minutes this time. I just hope I can control my thirst around him. I will never forgive myself if I hurt him. I got dressed in http://www.polyvore.com/clubbing_outfit/set?id=119423968. I look in the mirror pleased with my appearance and head out.
CC's P.O.V.
The guys wanted to take me out tonight. I silently hoped somehow I'd see Helena I had been thinking about her an awful lot lately. Ash comes upstairs and asks, "Dude are you ready yet?" As soon as I put on my bandana I say, "Yeah let's go." Ash comments, "Man you really need to get laid." I roll my eyes as we head to the club. Once we get there the guys meet up with their girls and Ash searches for his next victim. Suddenly I spot a familiar mass of black hair at the bar. I walk up to her and say, "Hello again." She smiles and replies, "Hello." I ask, 'Do you wanna go somewhere and talk?" Helena says, "Sure." We go outside and decide to go for a walk. I say, "So tell me about yourself."
Helena's P.O.V.
What do I say? I reply, "There's not much to tell." He says, "Well just tell me what you're comfortable with me knowing." I say, '"You already know my name. I'm 22 years old and I've lived in California my whole life." CC replies, "I've lived here my whole life too. It's funny how we haven't met before now." I say, "Yeah. I don't get out much. Tell me about you." He says, "You already know some things about me like I'm from LA, my name and that I am in a band considering you were at our show the other night. You never did tell me what you thought." I reply, "You guys were amazing. I really loved it especially Children's Surrender and Fallen Angels."
We talked for what seemed like hours then his phone rings. He walks away to answer it but, hangs up after a minute. CC says, That was Jake we need to get back." I nod and he puts his arm around me as we head back.
