Sink Your Teeth Into Forever

Ivy's POV
I sat in their living room, I could hear them talking in the kitchen. Andy's low, rumbling voice followed by her quieter voice. I wondered what they were talking about, I got the feeling it was me. Maybe the girl was just pretending to be nice and they were actually serial killers talking about all the ways that they could murder me. Weird the things you think about when you've just been kidnapped by a strange and partially inhuman couple. I thought about why I'd thrown the vase to save Andy, maybe because he seemed to be protecting me, maybe it was because I didn't want another member of their pack to be killed. Especially when it was my fault. I was so deep in thought that I nearly jumped out of my skin when I heard a loud knock at the door. I heard the conversation stop, and seconds later Andy entered the room. The only regard he gave me was a sideways glance as he went to the door to answer it. He checked out the window first before opening the door. I almost sighed in relief when I recognized Jake hand in hand with a girl. Behind him was a tall skinny guy, nearly as tall and skinny as Andy but not quite, he also had a girl in tow. She looked almost as terrified as I felt. Unlike me though the boy didn't seem to be dragging her into the house, she seemed to be clinging to him for dear life. Another car was pulling in the driveway. I watched another boy and girl get out, also joining hand in hand as they made their way to the door. She was pretty, and I noticed matching rings on their fingers. As Jake entered the house he took notice of me.
"Hey Ivy, you in trouble again?" He said jokingly, again under normal circumstances he would have been funny. Unfortunately now he just made me wish that I was invisible.
"You two know each other?" Andy said his eyes flicking between Jake and I.
"Yeah dude, I thought I told you about what happened,"
"Ya know what, tell me once everyone is here and is ready to listen. We're meeting in the living room," Andy said. Jakes smile faded as he heard Andy's serious tone. He came into the room with me and sat down next to me on the couch. At least that meant that no one else could. The girl that was with him sat on the end of the couch next to him. Everyone filed in and sat. The two other couples sat on the other bigger couch, and Andy's girl found a chair and he stood in the middle of all of us. Before Andy could speak she spoke up first and said:
"We have a guest why don't we all introduce ourselves,"
"Wait what about Ashley, he's not here yet," the male half of the married couple said.
"He's the topic of our discussion," Andy said bluntly, " Just introduce yourselves," Everyone went around and said their names, I tried to remember them. When it got around to me I realized that I had to introduce myself as well. I tried to sound confident but when I said my name it came out as barely a squeak. Meeting new people was never my strong suit.
"Ok so where is Ashley?" The one, what was his name? Jinxx said.
"That's the problem. I don't know. I went to his house to check on him, and I found him and all of his animals gone. His house was destroyed on the inside. And standing in the middle of the wreckage I found her," Andy said his voice raising to a yell as he jabbed an accusing finger in my direction. I shrunk into the couch at his accusation, I felt everyone's eyes on me.
"Jake, you know this girl. Would you care to explain how you met," Andy hissed. I listened to Jake explain about the night a few weeks ago when Ashley had found me in the woods and they had healed me.
"Why were you in the woods?" Andy demanded, a question towards me I had to force myself to speak up and answer him.
"I was trying to get away from my dad. So I went for a walk in the woods, I got lost and it started to rain. I fell down a hill and got hurt," I explained quickly.
"Wait a minute, why were you trying to get away from your dad?" CC said.
"I was tired of listening to him obsess about trying to capture the monstrous wolves that live in the woods," I said trailing off.
"What happened to Ashley?" Andy demanded. I struggled to find my voice to answer.
"My dad captured him. I didn't realize it was him until it was too late. The government came and took him away. I tried, I tried so hard to help him escape, but I wasn't fast enough," I had tears on my cheeks by the time I was done.
Juliette's POV
"What were you doing in his house when I found you?" Andy yelled, his eyes were icy. I didn't understand why he was being so horrible to her. She started to sob and couldn't answer him.
"I said why the hell were you in his house?!" Andy screamed.
"Andy stop it! She didn't ask for any of this!" I yelled at him in disbelief at what I was hearing. This was a side of him I'd never seen before.
"I j-j-just w-wanted to know if they brought him back yet," She said between sobs. I watched Andy's face and to my relief it softened, he'd finally realized that this wasn't her fault. I still tensed when I saw him approach her. He sat on the coffee table in front of her, at first I thought that he was going to hit her. Then he reached up and touched her face gently, he was wiping away her tears. I could hear him hushing her and telling her that it was okay, and apologizing for yelling at her. After a few minutes her sobs ebbed and quieted slightly.
"Sweet heart I'm sorry for yelling at you. Can you answer one more question for me?" he said to her softly, trying to look at her even though she wouldn't look at anything but the floor and was turning her head away from him. She nodded.
"Do you know where they took him?" He said gently, like he was talking to a child. It seemed like right now she needed to be spoken to in that way. His icy eyes had melted and were so much softer. She shook her head.
"No... I-I don't know where they took him... I'm so sorry," She started to cry again.
"It's okay, shhh, you're okay," Andy cooed soothingly, rubbing her cheek with his thumb. Jake reached over and started to rub her back. Seeing as someone else had taken over in consoling Ivy, Andy stood and addressed the whole pack.
"For the time being I want everyone to stay here. For pack security. You all have one hour, go pack and be back here. When you get back, don't leave this house alone, and if you do tell me where you're going and why. I don't mean to be controlling but I don't want to lose track of anyone else," Andy said. Everyone began to get up and leave when a voice cut through.
"What about me?" Ivy said. Andy turned to her and spoke reasonably.
"I would take you back but, I don't want to risk going back past Ashley's house. I'm also worried about your safety, so for now you're staying here. Welcome to the pack."

Scary Andy is scary. Seriously though imagine if he was yelling at you like that, it would be downright terrifying. I had a heck of a time writing this, and it turned out a lot more entertaining than I thought it would be. I only got one comment on the last one and that really bummed me out, I was struggling to write this. I really love to know what you guys think of this story.
