The "High School Experience"

Oh my god, school is finally over today! I still can’t comprehend what Brian did at lunch; I mean what was he thinking? We were right in front of 4 guys who know I am dating Andy. I just want to stop thinking about it and stay in the present. I am holding Andy’s hand as we walk out of the front doors and sit on the black benches outside. We have to wait for Jake, Christian, Ashley, and Jeremy. They were all in different classes. I sigh “what’s up Andy?” I ask to make conversation. “I am still seething from lunch today, I might as well beat him up.” He responds solemnly. I frown, I wouldn’t want him to do that, I am not worth that much. I look away from him and to the doors. I stare at the side of the brown building and wait in silence for the boys to show up. I hear a lot of noise and snap out of my boredom and look around. There is a group of students standing in a circle yelling, I see in the middle is Brian and Keith, one of the friends I had formed on Tuesday. Keith was standing above Brian who was laying on the ground. I stood along with Andy as we walked closer to the circle and heard Keith, “…If you ever touch her again it will be worse, Brian.” He spat and walked away and out the circle to the parking lot. Brian was clutching his stomach and his eyes were squeezed shut. “I guess you didn’t have to do anything.” I mutter to Andy and he nods in Approval. Brian is still laying onthe ground as the crowd thins, I even see some of Brian’s friends walk away from him. I finally see the guys walk through the door. They see both Andy and I and then Brian on the ground. “What the hell happened?” Christian says as he jogs up to us. “Keith just beat Brian’s ass and left him lying on the ground because of what happened at lunch today.” I say quickly and turn away from the scene. “Let’s go.” I mutter and pull Andy along with me as the guys continue behind us. I attempt to walk quickly without stumbling, I am rather clumsy. We continue along the sidewalk on Andy’s side of the street. His mother had to travel for work and said it was OK if we used her house while she was gone. Andy pulls out his keys and unlocks the front door to the 2 story house. I stride in and immediately collapse onto the closest couch. “Babe, get up we need to have some fun, you need it.” Andy says as he knocks my legs down from the arm of the couch. I groggily get up and Ashley playfully pushes my shoulder. I push him gently back and we end up in a full war. We shove eachother back and forth This goes on until Jake decides to break it up after Ashley felon the floor. All of us retreat to the basement with Andy. I glanced at the fully stocked bar that was always there. I never gave much thought to drinking alcohol and still haven’t, I shrug and sit down on my beanbag I drug over here 3 years ago. I lean back and laugh as Jake attempts to touch the ceiling. Andy can easily touch it since he got a growth spurt in eighth grade. I get up from the beanbag and attempt to touch it as well. I am really short (4’ 11”) so my attemot was far from close. I frown lightly and am about to sit back down. Andy grabs me by the waist suddenly and lifts me up, I realize what he is doing and raise my arm. I touch the ceiling for an instant and Andy slowly approaches me back to the ground. I turn and smile at him and mutter a thanks, I am still kind of shy about doing the cutesey couple stuff in front of other people. He smirks and gently kisses my lips quickly and turned to join conversation with the rest of our group. They were talking about writing lyrics, riffs, tempos, etc. So I decided to sit back down on my bean bag and pull out my iPhone. I checked my facebook to see I see a photo of Brian lying on the ground posted to the school website. Under it is the caption –who did this, and why?- I sigh and turn my phone off. I tilt my head off and close my eyes. “KITKAT WAKEUP THE PIZZA IS HERE!” I hear Jake scream at me. I jolt up and realize I fell asleep for 40 minutes. I gather myself and pull my feet under me. I walk to the bar that has the pizza boxes on it. There were already 2 empty beer bottles, I guess the some of the guys already opened up the alcohol. I shrug it off and pick up a slice ofbacon pizza and take a bite into it, The bacon falls off my bite and onto my tongue, its delicious. I finish that piece and eventually three afterwards. “wow KitKat, you must really like that pizza huh?” Christain says between bites. I nod a yes and look to find Andy. I can’t find him, “wheres Andy?” I say and get a lot of shrugs. I retreat up to the first floor and scan the rooms. I haven’t found him yet, maybe he is in his room? I go up the staircase and go to the door at the end of the hall. I open it and find Andy in there, holding a lot of papers. “Do you need help Andy...?” I ask as I reach my hands out. He snatches them away and nods no, that is odd. I back off and say bye, “Ill be down soon, sorry I just don’t want you to see these yet…” Andy says as I walk out to the stairs. I walk back to the basement. Ashley is holding a brown bottle and taking multiple swigs from it. Oh what the hell, might as well too right? Can’t hurt anyone that much. Just one beer I wont get drunkI tell myself. I go behind the bar to the mini fridge. I open it and pull out a beer. I pop the cap off with my thumb nail and take my first drink of the night.

Hey everyone! I hope you all wil have great weekends. This is just another chapter but has alot of important events. I am not sure where I am going with Kirsten drinking while Andy is upstairs and what those papers are...
