The "High School Experience"

After I downed the whole bottle, I saw Jinxx standing on a table dancing. I laugh at him and glance as Andy comes down. He smiles at the scene he walks in on and comes up to me. My body takes to alcohol very easily so I was already a little off balance. I grab Andy’s hand and attempt to steady myself. Andy reaches behind us to grab his own drink and downs it. I just watch as the guys make fools of themselves and laugh as Jeremy gives Ashley a piggyback ride around the room. “Let’s get some music on!” I yell and hear a chorus of cheers. I grab my iPod and put it on the speaker dock. I blast out Sleeping With Sirens and leave the dock playing music. I walk back to Andy and grab another beer. I drink from it and talk to Andy. “So, what do you want to do tonight?” I ask. Andy just shrugs and drinks from his bottle. I rest my arm on the high table behind us and roll my head back. I want to do something crazy, out of my comfort zone. I grab Andy’s arm and whisper in his ear, “Let’s sing together.” He looks at me, I rarely sing in front of him let alone other people. “What the hell, not like any of these guys will remember it,” Andy says quickly. I go to my iPod to change the song, “what do you want to sing?” I ask Andy. “How ‘bout, Bulletproof Love by Pierce the Veil.” He suggests. “Alright” I respond and scroll to the song. I press play and open the song, “I breathe you in with smoke in the backyard lights!” I sing-yell. “We used to laugh until we choked into the wasted nights!” Andy responds. “It was the best time of my life but now I sleep alone. So darling don’t don’t wake me up because my thrill is gone!” We sing together. The song continues, “…Now there’s nothing to do but scream at the drunken moon!” We continue singing the song until it ends. I laugh at the end and clutch Andy’s hand as we had turned to face eachother during the song. I wrap my arms around his neck and wink at him. He chuckles and leans in to kiss me. I close the gap and connect our lips.
**2 Hours Later**
“Andy then decided to go climb the backyard wall and chase after a lizard. He fell when he got to the top, he was so embarrassed!” I say as we had been sharing stories about eachother. “No no, I have a better one. So KitKat here was quite popular with the guys in 6th grade. She had hit puberty earlier then all the other girls and was quite attractive I must say. So one of the geeky guys got the guts to ask her out. She didn’t say anything and when she didn’t the dude starting crying. So she had to comfort him and explain to the teacher what happened. It was hilarious to watch honestly.” Andy explains and I laugh at the memory. “It was terrible I felt so bad for the kid but I wasn’t gonna go out with him.” I say. The guys laugh and sip their beers. I finish my fifth beer and place it on the coffee table. I lean back and Andy wraps his arm around my shoulders. I feel really fuzzy, like I cant focus on anything for more then 3 seconds. I bob my head back and forth and rest my head onto Andy’s shoulder. I sigh and close my eyes. Andy pulls me onto his lap and I move my head to his chest. “C’mon KitKat lets go upstairs.” Andy says quietly and adjusts himself to move his arms under me. I nod and fell me being lifted up. I fell his body move up and down as he walks up the stairs. I breathe out heavily as we reach his bedroom. I feel so drunk I can barely keep myself curled up against Andy. He sighs and lays me on his bed. I open my eyes to see him standing above me. “Come on KitKat…
