The "High School Experience"

Ashby arranged with Ashley for him to hold a party, since he usually throws the best hang outs.
She also wanted me to show up with a date and wear the skimpiest clothing ever.
As in a tight black dress that barely covered my butt and a visit to the hair salon, which resulted in now dark blue/purple hair.
Yeah, I basically look like a completely different person.
Speaking of a different person, Keith is my date. Remember one of the guys who fought for me a while back (if my memory is correct…) yeah. He’s my date. I mean he’s pretty cute but he’s not…Andy cute.
Y’ know what I mean?
Anyways, right now I’m waiting for Ashley to pick up his phone so he’ll unlock his door and let me and Keith in.
“Are you nervous about the whole…Andy thing?” Keith asks me as he fiddles with the plastic bracelet around his wrist.
“I guess…I don’t know actually. I kind of just want to rub it in his face on what he lost I suppose. Even though I’m the one who broke it off I said for him to talk to me when he can tell me the truth. I’m assuming his blatantly obvious new girlfriend is this supposed truth. I don’t know he’s just a passive person. I just realized that was a long speech, sorry Keith.” I explain and attempt to lengthen my dress, pulling at the silky fabric.
“You’ll be okay. Just gotta show him what he’s missing KitKat,” Keith says and rubs on my shoulder.
“Ok. Keith just make sure I don’t do anything embarrassing alright?” I ask him and he nods quickly.
“Yeah of course. I don’t want you to anyways,” Keith laughs and Ashley finally swings the door open.
“Hey guys,” Ashley says and I can hear the booming music in the basement from here. “Alcohol and party is downstairs. Andy and his annoying date is downstairs on the couch so you know where to avoid.”
We thank Ash and walk in and immediately find the stairs leading to the underground party. Keith gently links arms with me as we head down the stairs and are greeted with a pool of loud, drunk, teenagers. Soon, I also was going to be a loud, drunk, teacher which can only start with a beer.
“C’mon Keith! You want to have fun don’t you?”
“Yeah I do but I feel like if you start drinking now you’ll get really drunk by the time it’s halfway through the party.”
That’s the plan,”
I smile once I reach the giant keg and grab a plastic cup. I fill it to the brim with brown liquid and bring the cup to my red stained lips. I pour some of the liquid down my throat, burning until it hits my stomach and I take another drink, upon drink, upon drink. Eventually the whole cup is empty in only 2 minutes and Keith is barely even started on his.
“Kirsten, I think you should slow down hun.”
“I think you should hurry up, hun.”
I giggle and fill my bottle again, taking smaller sips now and suddenly spot Ashby, Christian, and Jake.
“C’mon baby!” I laugh, and tug Keith along with me, probably spilling some of his beer onto his shirt. I reach the little group and shoulder Ashby gently and she squeals when she sees me.
“You look hot my friend!” She giggles and downs the rest of her bottle. Ashby was in a purple dress similar to mine and had her hair carelessly pinned up and curled.
“And so do you.” I laugh until I spot Andy out of the corner of my eye. He had a girl on his arm while they both drank out of cups and sloppily kissed each other. Ick.
“God damn. Look at that bastard,” I snicker and point in their direction and my whole group looks over to them.
“Yeah I’m sorry about what Andy is doing,” Jake mumbles and I shrug.
“You can’t control a douchebag. But I’m gonna get drunk and probably do something I regret but whatever. Who wants to go on a beer run with me?”
