Chrissie POV

It was so late that I decided to just walk to the beach to get this over with. I heard light footprints in the distance, except I refused to turn around.

I jogged on the beach, the sand filling in between my toes. He didnt care, no one cared.
I wasnt holding back this time. I walked up to the shore, the water splashing over my feet and the tide decreasing.

We finally get to be together Trenton.

I slowly stepped deeper into the cold water until it was up to my collarbones.

Last time Im going swimming.

"Chrissie!" He shouted behind me.
I pretend I didnt hear him.

Looking at the booeys that labeled the drop off, I stepped forward falling under water, letting it fill my lungs.

Andy POV

I looked at the water searching for her. Her head peeked from above the water in front of the dropoff line.

"Chrissie!" I knew she could hear me.

Her head went under water, making my heart stop.

I ran into the water, trudging through in my combat boots.

I was getting extremely exhausted, but I couldnt give up on her.

Feeling around in the water I found her, but she was unconsicous.

"No." A tear rolled down my cheek, making me confused because I never cry.

Her throat twitched and she coughed up a lot of water.

Finally, she opens her eyes and stares at me.

I start walking to shore when she jumps out of my arms and tries to walk back to the drop off, but I pull her back.

"Trenton! Andy let me go!" She was acting like Trenton was waiting for her under water.

"NO! WHY DO YOU ALWAYS DO THIS TO ME?!"

She punched my chest and kicked me, but I held her body still.

After being tired of struggling, she gave up and layed her head on my shoulder, quietly sobbing.


I walked our soaked bodies to shore and sat with her on my lap in the sand.

We didnt make eye contact. We just wrapped our arms around each other.

"I love you." I whisper.

She lets go of me and stares into my eyes with her bloodshot brown ones.

"I love you too."

I pull her to me and kiss her on the nose.
