Chrissie POV

Trenton and I agreed to meet at McDonalds, causing memories to flood back in my head.

Once he picked me up I felt better and calmer.

He pressed play and a CD started in the car.

I had never heard the song but I automatically loved it.

"What is this song called?"

"Saviour. Its my favorite song."

"I love it too." I turned the song up a little bit.
"Who is it by?"

"The Black Veil Brides."

I gulped when I heard those four words.
Andy's voice was so beautiful it made me wonder why he started making music again.

Probably because he didnt have me to hold him back.

"Who?"

"Nothing."

"Im not stupid, Chrissie." He pulled over to the side of the road and turned the engine off, leaving the music on.

"Whats going on?"

"Remember that guy I was fighting with?"
He nodded.

"He is the lead singer of the Black Veil Brides."

He thought for a minute.
"Did he hurt you?"

"Not physically." I whispered.

He took my hands and held them softly, staring into his eyes.

"Ive been hurt before too, Chrissie." He sighed. "But you know how to stay strong."

What? I looked at him and his head hung low and sadly.
A tear dropped and fell on my knuckles, rolling down in between my fingers. But it wasnt mine.

He noticed he was crying and sniffled a little bit.
"Sorry."

"Are you okay, Trent?"

"Yeah." His voice was scratchy.

"Do you wanna talk about it?"

"Like you wanna hear a sob story from me?"

"I do." I smiled.

"Lets just go to dinner, Im sure that you dont want to see a big sloppy emotional breakdown before you eat." He chuckles.

"I havent seen a big sloppy emotional breakdown in a while. Carry on." I joked.

He smiled at me again but more intently.

"Well, I was in love with my girlfriend Amber, but I guess she found a better guy and carried on with a better life." He took a deep breath.

"But everything went downhill and nothing made me happy ever again, you know?"

I nodded. I knew exactly how it felt to be pushed away from the only thing that kept you happy and sane.

"The walls were suffocating me, making me feel numb, eating me from the inside out until I was just a glass shell." He was such a poet. I could listen to him all day and night.

His eyes were teary again.
"And then," He took a deep breath before he sobbed again.
"I s-started-"

I put my hand on his knee to calm him down,this was obviously hurting him too much to say this.

He pull his sleeve down and revealed old scars and fresh cuts lined acrossed his arms.

He moved his hands to his face and sobbed.

I wrapped my arms around him and shushed him softly, but he pushed me away.

"Im a monster."
