The Preacher's Daughter

"Miss Donnaway you could go to prison."

"I understand that Sir." I mummer.

The door opens seeing a another man. Bald. "Gracen Donnaway?"

"In the flesh." I smile.

"Hi am Charles Ridge, I have been assigned to your case."

"We are busy here." The detective mummers.

"I need to speak to my client, in private. So you can go."

The detective groans and walks out angrily.

Charles sit down opening his briefcase.

"Did my father send you?" Fear begins to raise.

"No. Your boyfriend Mr. Biersack."

Perks of being a rock stars girlfriend.

"Five years, that's the penalty. Seeing you your finger prints is not on the gun, it turns you, you are a person of interest, leading to a suspect."

"Okay, what's the chances I got?"

"Three out of five. Miss. Donnaway I am not sure I can help you. But there is another solution. Mr. Biersack is not charge but they will force him to testify against you."

"Bail?"

"25 thousand. Trail is in two days."

"I don't have that kind of money."

"Don't worry Mr. Biersack all ready signed bail. You are not aloud to leave the country understood. If you do will get life."

"I understand."

"I will take you home to Mr. Biersack. We have something to discuss."

•three hours later•

Ben bruce, Danny Worsnop, I, Andy and Mary was sitting in silence in the living room. "I am going to jail." I whisper.

"It was self defense. I can testify saying it is." Mary growls.


"No. Don't." Charles snaps. "Any idea than?" Andy asks.

"The only way to expel this is to get married."

"Wait what?" I ask confused.

"Its common law!" Mary yells startling us all. "A husband can not testify against its wife, I learn that in law school."

"You went to law school?" Ben ask confused.

"Just for a year." I mummer.

"Miss. Donnaway is right. A spouse can't testify."

I turn to Andy. "Andy?"

"In this two days?"

"Yes Mr. Biersack, as they don't know your sister or mr.worsnop or Mr. Bruce was there it only comes down to you two."

Andy turns to me and nod. "Okay. We will do it."

"Andy no." I whisper.

"I won't let them take you. Remember what I told you."

"I am yours."

He turn back to his lawyer and nod. "Very well. I had no stage appearance in this act. For safety majors."

"Of course."

Charles stood up and shook my hand. "I will see you in two days."

"Thank you."
