Shit. How could I have screwed up so majorly? I saw that Jake was nervously running his hand through his hair. I cleared my throat.
"So...uh...where exactly are we going?" I need to keep my guard up.
"Right into this room here." Andy opened the door, still kind of looking at me weird. Like he knew I was hiding something. We all walked into the room and everyone took a seat. Well, everyone but me, that is. Jake and Jinxx sat down on a short couch, CC took a office chair, and was currently rolling around and spinning like some hyperactive kid, and Ash took a seat sitting backwards on a normal chair. Andy hopped up on the counter. I just stood there.
"So..Alex was it? How old are you, kid?" I felt myself bristle up a little. I'm short, and I hate being called kid.
"Please, don't call me kid. I'm 22 years old."
