Andy's POV
first period was a drag all miss did was talk so for half the lesson i just stared aimlessly out the window just thinking about hope....i don't know what it is but something is drawing me to her. The bell suddenly screeched causing me to jump half a meter out my seat making me lose my train of thought and getting all sorts of weird looks from the people around me.i looked to my side to see that hope was quietly laughing to herself. "Oh great job biersack let her know your a jumpy klutz!" I quickly stuffed my notebook into my backpack frowning and turned to walk out the door only to be stopped by non other than miss jones she motioned me to her table and i already knew what she was going to talk to me about. "Andy are you alright love you seem to be very distant in class and jumpy" she said in her sweet as honey voice i just nodded before basically running out of the class only to knock into the infamous brandon Urie , school jock with no sense of music taste.Great.. I thought. Before i could side step him he shoved me into a locker causing my back to make an involuntary crack. He walked off down the hall laughing with his friends all high fiving each other and happy. I moaned and started walking to the boys toilets deciding i could just skip second period and listen to my music. I walked down the corridor and into the toilets sighing in relief when i saw none was in the stools or using the urinals i quickly locked the door so none could disturb me before taking out my phone and listening to green days dookie. I quietly hummed to myself even though i knew no one could her me then i took out my notepad and bat man pen (i love bat man!) and started writing down some lyrics for a song I'm working on called ritual i have to say it sounds good so far. It felt like i had only been in here 5 minuets before the bell rang signaling break. Humming basket case by green day to myself i packed my things into my bat man backpack then started walking to the field, there was no point going to the canteen i never got anything just sat there reading or writing lyrics. I made my way to my favorite place on the field right under the oak tree where i got a perfect view of everyone around me so that if anyone came over i could easily escape. Happily munching on my apple i noticed a shadow in front of me, trembling slightly i looked up only to see it was just this guy called ashley....Purdy or something like that. he sits next to me in homeroom and art. Noticing me shaking he puts his hands up in surrender and sits next to me a small smile etched on his face. Now I'm straight but even i knew ashley was hot he didn't get shit from anybody for the way he dressed always having girls fawn other him.(hate to admit it but i was kind of jealous) Seeing me staring me smirked and winked. "What a fucking flirt i thought".
"Hey andy i noticed no one was here so thought id say hey so um hey i guess...blink are awesome by the way."He said gesturing to my old shirt . I said hey and thanks back shyly iwasn't really used to people talking to me so i got straight to the point. "why are you here?" I said a little bluntly. "I just wanted to talk" he said a scared edge to his voice. I just gave him a sympathetic sorry look.

Break went amazingly me and ashley actually had loads in common our music taste was basically the same and he plays bass i told him i could sing and showed him a few songs and he told me about his friend Sandra that played the drums he even INVITED me over to his house tomorrow! Today went better than i thought and i might have a new friend.

the school day went on much the same as before getting dirty looks from the football team and all their minions around them and occasionally seeing ashley in the hall and him waving to me . I had completely forgotten about talking to Hope and as i made my way out of the school noticed her quickly shuffling out the gates trying to hide from clara head cheer leader the slutty red head (who by the way is the school bitch, slut whore.... Shall i go on). She managed to get away and i smiled hoping her day went as well as mine.

I made my way home rather quickly and when i got in saw a little pink sticky note left on the counter i slowly walked up to it reading and sighing knowing what it was gonna say.

hey darling gone out wont be back till later theres food in the fridge feel free to make whatever you want.

i scrunched the note up jogging up to my room and grabbing my jumper before going back down stairs and walking out the front door. i put my head phones in listening to fountains of wayne Stacey's mom. I hummed to myself kicking a little stone along the road before walking into the woods by my house. It was peaceful here no one from school would show up and i was just left alone with my thoughts i trudged up to the little lake by the edge of the wood and sat on a large rock before continuing to write my song ritual from earlier.

It was now getting dark probably around 7 and i had decided to call it a night and start my 10 minuets walk back home that was before i saw a little trembling figure a little way away from me i could hear muffled cries and and changed my direction before seeing the most heart breaking sight in my life... Hope was sat on the muddy floor with tear stained cheeks and puffy red eyes. What was worse was that i could see a welt forming on her left cheek it looked pretty painful to be completely honest. I couldn't bare to see her like this...so broken so i silently sat next to her, she hadn't even noticed me there and gasped at my presence before wiping her cheeks and staring up at me. Her eyes just looked so pained and upset. I leaned forward and hugged her waiting to be slapped or shoved of something. What she did next shocked me she actually hugged back and slowly released me a small forced smile playing on her delicate little lips.

"Hey" she said
