Chapter 14: Rebel Love Song (Part 1)
CC's POV
"That was the best birthday present ever." I panted. Jake put his arms around me and cradled my head. "Now little CC, go to sleep." He whispered before kissing my forehead. We slowly drifted to sleep.
I awoke first, Jake lay peacefully next to me. I had a raging hangover. I had to question yesterday. I know what happened, but how did I get drunk? I got up, showered, threw on some clothes, grabbed a coffee and watched Curb Your Enthusiasm. Jake appeared holding his very messy hair. "Morning." I smiled. "Morning." Jake growled, I'm guessing he also had a raging hangover. I made him a coffee. I resumed my place on the couch. Jake sat on my lap sipping at his warm coffee. My phone started to vibrate against his butt. "Wow, how small is that dildo?" Jake asked surprised. "It's my phone." I chuckled. I answered my phone. "Hello?" I asked. "Hello CC it's Ashley." Ashley replied. "Oh yes CC keep going." Jake screamed down the phone. "Am I interrupting?" Ashley asked a little creeped out. "No Jake's being an ass." I replied before slapping Jake quite hard. "Ok well we're going into the studio soon, I'll let you get back to what you were doing." Ashley left either scarred, creeped out, or both. "Alright, I'll see you later." I replied. I hung up and placed my phone next to me. I slapped Jake as hard as I could, knocking him to the floor and leaving a huge, red hand print on his chest. He rubbed his chest while giving me puppy dog eyes. I extended my arms. "We're going into the studio soon and then we'll be touring." I smiled as he walked towards me and walked into my hug. "Awesome, can't wait, I also can't wait to get rid of this hangover." Jake looked like he was about to cry. "Get dressed, I'll drive, I'm fine now." I replied pulling him away from me. He toddled through the room to get dressed, while I put some dishes in the dishwasher. I took Jake to the store. We walked in and instantly we were spotted, bad timing for Jake. "You're CC and Jake from Black Veil Brides." One fan screamed. "We are and you're fans of our band we met in a grocery store. I wouldn't bug Jake, he has a bad hangover." I advised. "Babe, move I want to get out of here as soon as we can." Jake whined. "Sorry, Jake's grumpy." I said farewell. "Happy Birthday, see you later." The group said in sync. "Thank you." I replied. "CC!" Jake growled. I grabbed a can of Monster and went up to the counter to pay, Jake following closely behind. He'd gotten dog food and hangover cures. We put it on my credit card. We got into the house, Jake immediately began to stuff his face with all kinds of shit while watching the Pumpkinhead movies. While I did a Twitter Q and A. Most of the questions were about my relationship with Jake. Every time Jake's name was mentioned I looked over at him and smiled. Before long Jake had fallen asleep in a pool of chips. I walked over to Jake. I kissed his forehead before grabbing the controller for the Xbox and began to play Mortal Kombat. I got a phone call from Ashley asking if we'd be able to make it to the studio tomorrow. I said that we could. I started to pack the car full of drums. Jake slept the whole night in a pool of chips, I'd clean up the mess once we'd been to the studio. I got some peaceful rest before we headed into the studio.
Jake's POV
CC woke me up at 8am. We were heading into the studio. I woke up fully clothed, but in a pool of chips. I immediately went in the shower to wake myself up and to get rid of the smell of cheese. CC cleaned up the chips while I showered and got dressed. I packed the remaining drums into CC's car. I was going to have to take my car and pick up Jinxx. Jinxx seemed to be bringing all his orchestral instruments and his guitar. CC and I left at the same time, CC went straight to the studio, I picked up Jinxx and his instruments, then headed to the studio, Ashley and Andy rode together, they didn't live far apart. I couldn't wait to see what riffs we could come up with, I didn't want it to be a distracting process because Jinxx would get annoyed and so would the rest of the band, it was going to be challenging with CC around.
We went back to the 'Set The World On Fire' process, Andy and Ashley wrote the bass line and lyrics to our riffs or we built a riff around their lyrics. CC was still going to record first, no matter what. Jinxx and I sat and played about with our guitars and amps to come up with some cool riffs, I spent more time with CC and to say Jinxx was becoming annoyed, was an understatement. CC and I were soon split up and told not to be lovers in the studio because it annoyed people. Whenever I got a chance I met up with CC, it was a forbidden recording studio love.
