My Prophet
My Best Friend
"Alight, mother fuckers." I said into the mic. I looked over at Coralie to see her taking a picture of me and I made a silly face. "This is our last song, and I know it's a pretty slow one but my beautiful fiance and best friend Coralie Johnson is not having the best week and I want to sing this for her. And if she'd come out," Everyone screamed as she smiled softly and rolled her eyes. She walked over to me and I wrapped my arm around her waist, "It's called Savior and I know you fucking know it, so I want everyone in the crowd to sing for my girl, okay? Make her feel loved!"
The guys started playing, Jinxx with his violin and I took her by the waist and pulled her so she looked into my eyes.
I never meant to be the one who kept you from the dark,
but now I know my wounds are sewn because of who you are.
I will take this burden on, and become the holy one, but remember I am human and I'm bound to sing this song.
So hear my voice, remind you not to bleed.
I'm here.
A savior will be there, when are you a feeling alone.
A savior for all that you do, so you live freely without their harm.
The entire crowd was singing and Coralie had started to cry. I pulled her into my chest and continued singing.
So here I write my lullaby for all the lonely ones.
Remember as you learn to try to be the one you love.
So I can take this pen, and teach you how to live.
What is left unsaid, the greatest gift I give.
So hear my voice, remind you not to bleed, I'm here.
A savior will be there, when you are a feeling alone.
A savior for all that you do, so you live freely without their harm.
I buried my face in Coralie's neck and slowly rocked her back and forth as she sobbed. I glanced up at the crowd to see everyone looking at us with big doe eyes. Some were looking at Corrie angrily and I rolled my eyes. This was my love and no one was going to change that.
A savior will be there, when you are feeling alone.
A savior for all that you do, so you live freely without their harm.
I pulled away from Corrie, but still loosely held her hand, not wanting to scream in her face.
When I hear your cries, praying for light, I will be there.
When I hear your cries praying for light, I will be there!
I will be there!
I will always be there!
I will fight for you!
As I finished out the last scream, I walked closer to Coralie and brushed her hair behind her ear. She was full on sobbing now and I smiled, before kissing her head lightly.
"I love you. I promise, I will help you get through this." I said, hugging her tightly.
"Thank you, Andy." She said, softly. "I love you too."

I know the feeling. My stories from two years ago on here are just cringe-worthy in my opinion. But I definitely can relate to the your main character already just because of the the dance aspect. Kind of reminds me of my series "The Mortician's Daughter/Lost It All" and "Wretched and Divine/Ohio Is For Lovers" Those two series are dance related which are my favorite types of stories to write
