My Prophet

Road To Nowhere

I sighed, biting my thumb nail as Andy chatted with Joe. An untouched glass of wine rested on the coffee table in front of me. I leaned my head on Andy's shoulder, not really caring about the conversation until I heard someone whistle.

"Damn, look at that rock." Ashley said, sitting next to me. "You know, Cor, I liked you first."

"You mean you flirted with me first." I smirked a him. Andy and Joe turned their heads towards us.

"That too." He winked.

"Hey, don't wink at my girl." Andy chuckled.

"Threatened, Biersack?" Ashley grinned.

"Not really, I got the girl." Andy retorted, pulling me closer to him.

"Oh I know." Ashley said, rolling his eyes, "When's the wedding?"

"We haven't started planning it." Andy said.

"Yeah but I'm the best man, right?" Joe said.

"No I am!" Ashley exclaimed.

"Oh god." Andy said, throwing his head in his hands. I laughed, rubbing his back. "Can't we just get married in Vegas or something?"

"You'd still have to have a best man." I pointed out.

"Not if we run away." He groaned. I leaned down and kissed him hard on the mouth. The boys made cat noises as Andy just flicked them off. We slowly sat up and he pulled me on his lap before I moved away from his lips. "Let's get married now."

I chuckled, and shook my head, "Wouldn't your mother be mad?"

"Probably:" He shrugged

"Then we can't." I smiled softly, trailing my thumb under his eye. He heaved a sigh.

"Fine." Ashley let out a hearty laugh.

"I never thought I'd hear Biersack say that." He shook his head.

"Me neither." Joe agreed.

Andy looked at me and smiled, "Just took the right women."

I smiled at him as he looked at the wine on the table. He picked it up. "What are you doing?"

"If you love me you'll drink this." He said.

"Why?" I groaned.

"Because you never have fun! Come on let's get drunk tonight!" He pleaded. I sighed and took the glass of wine. I started to sip on it and he grinned, "I win."

Ashley and Joe had started having their own conversation, "I guess you do. Getting drunk wouldn't be a terrible thing."

"Well then let's get you something stronger."

I know the feeling. My stories from two years ago on here are just cringe-worthy in my opinion. But I definitely can relate to the your main character already just because of the the dance aspect. Kind of reminds me of my series "The Mortician's Daughter/Lost It All" and "Wretched and Divine/Ohio Is For Lovers" Those two series are dance related which are my favorite types of stories to write

Awh thanks! This is one of my older stories so I personally believe the quality isn't as good as some of my more recent ones but thank you!

Just finished chapter one and already digging it! Can't wait to continue reading it!
