My Prophet
Air I Breathe Is You
I sighed, peeking my head into the living room. Coralie sat on the couch, her knees drawn to her chest. She wasn't allowed to dance for two weeks and I was staying home with her. I was afraid she was depressed.
She barely eats, never wants to go out anymore. I felt awful for her. Tonight was New Years and I was determined to get her to come over to Patrick Fogarty's house.
I walked over to the couch and sat next to her. I laid my head on her knees and she giggled. "Hey babe?"
"Yeah?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Do you want to go to Pat's tonight? It's going to be really fun!" I pleaded.
"Uh.." She sighed, "I don't know Andy."
"Please? You can't just stay here for two weeks! We have to have a little fun!" I exclaimed.
"I know." She lowered her eyes to look at me.
"So?" I said poking her side. She chuckled.
"Alright." She smiled, softly.
"Awesome." I said, wrapping my arms around her waist and kissing her quickly.
"What time is it?" She asked.
"It's at seven. So we need to leave in like an hour." I said, smiling.
"I should get ready then." She said, standing up. I followed her back into the bedroom. I changed quickly and waited for Coralie while she got ready in the bathroom.
She came out an hour later with a silver dress, that hugged her every curve on and tall heels. Her makeup was done perfectly and she had a small smile on her face.
"Wow." I said. She giggled and walked over to me. We linked hands. "Ready?"
"As I'll ever be."
Notes
A little filler! The next few chapters are going to be fun instead of sad for a change!
P.S.- I'm going to the Relapse Symphony tonight and I'm going to cry

I know the feeling. My stories from two years ago on here are just cringe-worthy in my opinion. But I definitely can relate to the your main character already just because of the the dance aspect. Kind of reminds me of my series "The Mortician's Daughter/Lost It All" and "Wretched and Divine/Ohio Is For Lovers" Those two series are dance related which are my favorite types of stories to write
