Second Chances

I got to the park where we were meeting up and let Cast out of the car. He stretched lazily and looked up at me as if asking ‘what’s the plan for today?’ I laughed at him and pet him before heading off to the exact location. As soon as I saw the group, I pointed at them and Cast took off as fast as he could to the group while I followed at a much slower pace. By the time I actually got to the group, everyone was laughing at Elk who was practically pinned under Cast getting ‘attacked’.

“Aww Elk has a new boyfriend.” I said as I sat down between Jinxx and Ash. Cast noticed that I was finally there and instantly got off Elk and laid down in front of me.

“Your dog is evil.” Elk shot me a glare, which only made me smile more.

“At least you know he likes you, if he didn’t you’d probably be food.”

“Love, don’t be mean to your best friend.” Ash ‘reprimanded’ me, but wasn’t able to keep from smirking at Elk.

“I’ll do what I want. So why did we have to meet here of all places?” I looked at Andy since he’s usually the one picking where to meet up.

“Don’t look at me, Kaos is the one who asked to meet up here.” That was surprising, but I still kind of expected it in a way. “I don’t even know why, I was going to just have you all at my place and play video games.” CC, Jake, Kaim and Clair all looked a bit upset at the lost chance to play video games.

“Well you know who the real children of the bands are.” Thanks to us all being easily distracted we ended up talking about absolutely nothing important. A half hour after I got there, CC and Jake went to get food for the group.

“So how did the tattoo appointment go?” I looked up at Elk and smiled a bit, I didn’t entirely want to tell them about my encounter with Jazz, but at the same time I knew I had to. I leaned against Ash, who instantly put his arm around me.

“It went really well. The girl drew up an amazing piece and has a high pain tolerance which is a nice change. Aside from Clair, all the girls I tattoo bitch and moan about how much it hurts. She brought her boyfriend with her as ‘moral’ support.”

“Why are you hesitating love?” I looked up at Ash and shook my head.

“It’s not like that Ash, I’m just worried how everyone else will react. She’s dating Jashire, and he and I talked for a bit before she came up to the room.”

“You were alone with that fucking asshole?!” I physically flinched when Elk yelled at me, while glaring. “After what he did to you I would have ordered Cast to slaughter him!”

“Enough Elk, I’m allowed to make my own choices and believe it or not I owe Jashire more than just a chance to hear him out. He saved my life and was my absolute best friend before the band.” I looked down at the light green grass and sighed. “I’m going to meet up with him sometime this coming week to talk about everything.”

“If that’s what you think is best, I’d rather you didn’t go alone though.”

“If you guys are going to make me bring someone it’s going to be Jinxx.” I took Ash’s hand and looked up at him, “Let’s go for a walk.” I stood up and told Cast to stay before walking away from the rest of the group with Ash. I wanted to know what his opinions were on some of the thoughts I was having. We walked for about fifteen or twenty minutes before he finally broke the silence.

“So what did you want to talk about?” He pulled me to his side and kept his arm around my waist.

“It’s probably really stupid, but I was wondering…would you ever want kids?” I just stared straight ahead of us, not wanting to think too much about his response.

“Honestly, I’ve never really thought about it, but if you’re asking if I’d ever want to have kids with you the answer is yes. I told you before Chase, you’re the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen, and I’m going to take this relationship slow because you’re that important to me.” I smiled and playfully bumped into him, pushing him from the worn path we were on. He gave me a look that said I should probably run, so I did. He gave me a few seconds head start before easily catching up to me and picking me up, tossing me over his shoulder.

“Hey! That’s cheating!” We drew the attention of a few people, but at that moment we didn’t care. Him being the asshole he is, dropped me into the duck pond and doubled over laughing as I glared at him. He offered me his hand to help me up, and when I took his hand I pulled him into the pond, “Payback is a bitch my love.” He pulled me against him and kissed me possessively, not caring at all that we were in a duck pond and being watched by a bunch of people. I had my arms around his neck, and jumped up, wrapping my legs around his waist. His hands instantly went to my thighs to hold me up.

“You really are the most beautiful girl I’ve ever known.” When we finally stopped sucking face, and got out of the pond there was a small group of kids maybe early teens standing next to the pond looking at the two of up at us. Ash put his arm around my shoulders and smirked at the kids. “What’s up guys?” The girls all giggled nervously while one of the three boys walked right up to us.

“Umm, can I get a picture with you two?” He was adorable, you could easily see how nervous he was.

“Of course.” I smiled as he handed his cell phone to a friend to take the picture. We spent the next five to ten minutes taking pictures with each of the kids and signing whatever paper they had with them. Ash pulled me close, catching me completely off guard, kissed me and took a picture of his own, and instantly put it on twitter.

My cell chimed, and I looked at the pic and laughed. We looked like utter shit, since we were still soaked.

@lonewolfhavic and I ditched the bands to hang out in/at a duck pond. Who knew wet dogs could still smell so nice? Love you babe <3

I laughed and smacked him on the arm, “You’re such an ass.” Even as I ‘scolded’ him, I took a screen shot, cropped it and set the pic as my background.

“Yeah, but you love me.” He took my hand and started dragging me back towards where we left the others. Instead of commenting, I leaned against him as we walked back. As soon as the group came into sight, Cast was charging at us. He slid to a stop in front of me, whining and barking as he tried to lick my face. “Aww someone missed mommy.” I laughed and kissed Cast on the head before pushing him down. We rejoined the group and got a few amused looks from the guys.

“You guys have fun ‘swimming’?” Jake laughed and managed to dodge the shoe that went flying at him.

“This asshole dropped me into the damn pond.”

“You got your revenge, you’re fine.” None of us were in any hurry to get up to go home. The sun was warm, but the breeze was cool. Overall the day was perfect, and I didn’t want it to ever end.

I updated as fast as I could for @ElodieGrimm who begged me to update tonight. I figured that some cuteness was due since I've been making Havic's life hell.
