Final Show
12 Months had gone by in a flash for the two bands and now they were finally back in Los Angeles for the very last show of the Tour, and then it would be all over. No one was quite sure whether they were relieved or saddened at this. This was the topic of conversation as the bands were all settled in the backstage area of the venue they were performing at that night. “Don’t get me wrong,” said Loretta, “This has been the best year of my life and I have loved every minute of it and I am sad it’s over but I’m majorly relieved as well.” “I’d love a nice vacation now!” said Jinxx, “Go somewhere nice just me and Sammi.” “Well do that then!” “What about the rest of you?” “As long as I have Solaris by my side,” said Andy “I really don’t care what happens next…” Solaris blushed “Andy you are just too sweet!” “Sweet, Sugar, Candy Man!” Christina sang. “I think someone had too much sugar on her corn flakes this morning,” Marcella said as everyone laughed at Christina. Christina pouted, “I had a spoonful and that was it!” “Yeah and how many sugars did you have in your tea?” “Two as usual…” “Exactly!” said Loretta, “And you ate a mars bar not 2 hours ago!”
Christina sheepishly grinned. “So what are you girls wearing tonight?” Solaris asked, “I’m stuck for ideas!” “I’m glad you asked that!” Andy said suddenly “because that has just reminded me of something!” “Oh yeah!” said CC “That’s right!” The girls all looked confused and bewildered. “What are you boys on about?” Andy grinned, stood up, and left the room with Ashley, CC and Jake right behind him. “Jinxx what are they on about?” Marcella asked. Jinxx just smirked and tapped his nose, “You’ll see…” Moments later, Andy and the other three returned, each carrying a large box. “What are those?” Solaris asked. Andy put the box he was holding on Solaris’ lap, “A gift for you my love… I hope you like it.” Ashley gave the box he had to Christina, Jake gave his to Marcella and CC gave his to Loretta. “CC… I…” CC lent down and whispered something in Loretta’s ear. Jinxx faintly heard a “Will you go out with me?” Next thing Loretta had jumped on CC and kissed him. Andy, Ashley, Jinxx and Jake all wolf whistled and the girls all went “Aww!” “Finally…” Andy said “Took you both long enough!” Solaris playfully slapped him, “Be nice Mr!” “Are you going to open your presents then girls?” Ashley asked, “I want to know what you think!” Christina giggled and took the lid off her box and gasped when she pulled out a long black and white gothic Lolita dress. “A-Ashy Boo I-I’m speechless…” “You like it?” “I love it!” Marcella opened hers to reveal a short gothic pink and black dress. “Jake I don’t know what to say…” “You don’t need to say anything baby.” CC had got Loretta a black and purple gothic corset with a black gothic skirt, “CC I love them!” “What have you got Solaris?” Everyone gasped when Solaris pulled out a beautiful black and red gothic style ball gown. “For my Princess…” Andy softly kissed Solaris. “A-Andy I… its beautiful I … wow…” “Andy, dare I ask how much that cost?” Loretta said, “That looks expensive!” Andy shrugged, “It was… but my girl is worth it.” “Guys…” Christina said suddenly, her voice had gone all serious. “What’s wrong Chrissie?” Loretta asked suddenly concerned. “Babe?” Ashley put his hands on her shoulders, “Is everything okay?” “Yeah I… there’s something I need to tell you all, something I should have said sooner but I was still dealing with the shock of it myself…” Ashley and Loretta exchanged concerned glances. “Ashley please don’t be mad at me for not telling you sooner and Loretta please don’t get mad Ashley…” “Why would I get mad at Ashley?” Solaris gasped, “You’re not?!” “Not what?” Christina nodded, “I am…” “Am what?!” Ashley and Loretta both yelled. Christina took a deep breath, “I’m pregnant…” “Oh Chrissie baby that’s wonderful!” “Congrats Chrissie!” “Sis why didn’t you tell me before?” “Like I said, I was still in shock myself; I just wasn’t ready to say anything…” “Ashley’s going to be a dad!” Jinxx said, “Unbelievable!” CC fell off his chair, “Ashley the first to be a father?! I never thought that would happen!” “That’s on the assumption that she’s keeping it…” Marcella said. “Of course I’m keeping it!” Christina glared at Marcella, “I don’t believe in abortions!” “Absolutely right!” said Loretta. “Guys, girls…” David’s head had appeared round the door, “I suggest you all start getting ready!” “Come on guys!” said Andy jumping up with excitement, “This is the last show! Let’s make this fucking night to remember!” Solaris grinned, “You ready for this girls?!” “Ready!!” the other three girls chorused! “Let’s do this!!” And a night to remember it was! The girls played all 15 songs off their album, wearing the outfits the boys had given them. Solaris sang her heart out and she sang for the fans and for Andy. The boys played 23 songs and Andy’s voice was practically gone by the end of it. And it was the end, it was all over. But no matter what happened next, none of them would ever forget that night.
