A FEW MONTHS LATER
Andy and I have been going steady for quite sometime now. With barely any fights. However, Andy's parents were coming to visit from Ohio tomorrow and I was starting to get nervous. I had never met them before. I guess Andy didn't see it necessary for us to meet, but lately we have become more serious about our relationship. He decided to tell his fans and talk about me in interviews. This was all great except now I have people threatening my life and telling me how I'm using Andy. I know I'm just a nurse, but shouldn't that mean that on not using him? At least I wasn't an aspiring entertainer. The whole thing has been stressing me out and I'm pretty sure Andy could tell.
"Hey babe you okay?" He asked since I was just staring blankly at the wall. "Fine" I lied. "Just a little nervous for your parents coming" I Added. At least that wasn't a total lie. "Why don't you have a girls day with Sammi? To get your mind off things." He suggested. I nodded and he pulled me into a hug "They're going to love you. Promise" he said trying to comfort me. "Promise?" I questioned as I was heading out the door. He nodded and blew me a kiss as I walked out. I smiled to myself. He's just so cute.
I went over to Sammi's house and knocked on the door. I hadn't talked to her in what seemed like forever. I waited a minute and still no answer. Her car was here. I knocked once again and she finally came. It was so dark in there I couldn't even see her. "Alesana?" She said. It wasn't normally for her to call me by my full name. "Sammi?" She opened the door further for me to come inside. I recognised the signs right away. Her apartment looked exactly like mine when Andy and I broke up. I looked at her only to have to force myself to look away. Her face and body were covered on bruises. "How did this happen?" I asked not looking at her face. It hurt seeing my best friend bruised and beaten. She shook her head but I wasn't going to take that as an answer.
"Sammi I know you don't want them to get in trouble, but I care about your well being." I said and then my eyes popped out of my head "Is it Jinxx?" No it couldn't be. They've been together for far too long. I would have realized it sooner, right? She shook her head no and that gave me some sort of relief. I sat her down on the couch and looked around. "Where is Jinxx? Does he know?" Again she shook her head and I was starting to get frustrated. "Sammi who is it!? Do you need to stay with Andy and I?" She sighed which was the sign of her about to talk. "Jinxx left... He went to travel to italy and meet a guitarists who would teach him a few things. I should've gone Ales. Do you remember when we were kids and I told you I had a brother but he wouldn't be around for a very long time?" She paused as I just sat and stared at her. "Well he's back" was all she said.
I pulled her into a hug and then grabbed her hand. "Well hurry up! We gotta pack a bag." I ran into her room and started throwing things into a bag, but it was too late. I heard the door slam and an unfamiliar voice yelling at Sammi. I slung the bag over my shoulder and ran downstairs to find Sammi thrown on the ground by her brother. "You asshole" I lunged at him and began to choke him. Sammi was yelling at me to stop but I was too busy yelling at her to get in the car. She ran out the door just as I was thrown to the ground with a thud.
ANDYS POV
Alesana left and I busied myself planning out the things we would do when my parents got here. I was interrupted by a phone call from Jinxx. "Hey" I answered kind of surprised by the call. "Have you heard from Sammi I haven't talked to her in almost a week." He sounded really worried. "Um no but I sent Alesana over a little while ago. I'll let you know when she gets back." I said reassuring him. "Okay thanks call me right away." I gave him my word. The phone call was a little weird but I figured she was busy with wedding things since the wedding was only 1 month away.
ALESANAS POV
I moaned as I felt the blood rush from my nose. I got up and punched the guy as hard as I could. I was glad he was rather small. He stumbled back but managed to kick me in the stomach. I felt like I was gonna puke. I held my stomach. He just smiled and laughed wickedly. "You can't save her." He said. He started pointing out that he had closed her off from the world. He turned his back from me and at that moment I felt like I could do anything. I picked up the chair that was beside me and smashed it over his head. I watched him fall limp to the ground. I scrambled to grab the bag and my keys. I ran out the house. Sammi looked more than scared. "Are you okay you're bleeding." She pointed out as I started the car and backed out of the driveway as fast a possible. "Peachy. Just call the cops please. He should be knocked out for a while." She did as I said and they said they would contact us as soon as they had him in custody. So much for a girls day I thought. I pulled into vallet parking lot. Ryan, the normal employee, asked if I was okay, but I brushed by him and went upstairs. I tried wiping the blood away but it was useless seeing as more kept pouring out. I was now coughing up blood. Most likely due to being kicked in the stomach. Before we reached the door Sammi stopped me and gave me a big hug. "Thank you." She mumbled into my hair. "No problem" I replied turning the key to get in the apartment.
"Hey did you talk to Samm-" he stopped mid sentence when he saw us. "What happened" he asked bringing us both into a hug. He then proceeded to inspect Sammi for injuries. "Are you okay?" He asked her and when she nodded he turned to me. "Ales you're bleeding." I laughed slightly but it hurt. "Everyone seems to be pointing that out" I joked. Andy left and then went into the hallway and came back with the first aid kit and a damp washcloth. I tried to help him but he insisted on doing it himself. Sammi took a seat next to me at the kitchen table. Andy did a pretty good job and everything had stopped bleeding. He huffed and then sat down. "Well is anyone going to tell me what happened? Or are we all going to sit here look at each other?" I looked at Sammi and decided I should tell the story.
I let him know about her brother and the fact that Jinxx was gone. I told him he used to be in jail but recently got out. I didn't tell him much about my fight except that I was kicked and I knocked him out. "We gotta call Jinxx" he said basically screaming. We both looked puzzeled and he went onto explain that he had called Andy worried. He gave Sammi the phone. "Hello, did she see her?" Jinxx said worried. "Jeremy" Sammi breathed into the phone. All of a sudden Sammi broke into tears. I rubbed her back trying to comfort her wishing I could do something more. "I'm safe now." She said as she gave me a small smile. I smiled back knowing that she was safe now with us. Jinxx said he was going to be on the way home immediately but it would be 2 days before he got here. We all decided we would look after her.
Amdy drove us to the police department so that Sammi could be interrogated and identify her brother. They told us the court schedule would be soon and then we drove her to the hospital. We wanted to make sure she didnt have any broken bones or internal bleeding after the many times he attacked her. Andy insisted that I was checked as well. I complied knowing it would make him feel better. We left knowing we were both okay, but both got some pain killers.
It was about midnight now and I was so tired. We made Sammi a bed in the guest room and she skyped with Jinxx. She soon fell asleep. I however took a shower while Andy called his parents telling them they would need a hotel for 2 days since Sammi was staying. They understood thankfully. I got out of the shower and put my batman shirt on and some so Sophie's and climbed into bed. Andy wrapped his arms around me. It all just felt so right. "I'm glad you're safe" he said as he pulled the cover over us. I smiled and snuggled into him even more burrying my face into his side. "Good night babe" he said as he stroked my hair. I fell asleep with no problem that night. At least I wasnt worrying about fan girls right now.
