Redemption
Behind the Closed Door
My hand twisted the door knob and reluctantly I pushed it open. There sitting on the couch was there one man I didn't want to see. Andy looked up at me when I walked in the room "Alesana?" I nodded not knowing what to say. "You look good" he gave me a sly smile and I could feel the anger build up inside of me. "After everything that happened 'You look good' is the first thing you say to me!?" I exclaimed while putting quotation marks around You look good.
I was already tired of him. I opened the door to the room and slammed it behind me as I stormed out. There was a smashing sound all of a sudden and I heard a loud "FUCK" come from Andy on the other side of the door. What did he do this time? I took a deep breath and exhaled. I reopened the door only to walk in and see Andy's hand bloody and the mirror shattered. "Andy..." I whispered. He must not have heard me come in becuase he jumped and looked at me with tear filled eyes. I wasn't quite sure if it was because he had hurt his hand or if he was crying for me.
"I'm sorry" he said. I was busy looking for a first aid kit. When I found it I gently took his hand and tended to it. Once it was bandaged and secure I looked up at him. "I'm sorry" he restated "and thank you". I was going to put the first aid kit away and as my hand was leaving his he caught it gently and whispered almost inaudibly "Don't leave me" I looked back with a sympathetic smile "I won't". When I walked back over I took a good look at him and noticed his eyes had huge dark circles under them and it wasn't the make up he was wearing. He looked like he had been through hell. "Could we maybe start over?, he asked. "I would hate to start over" I said I gave a light laugh and hugged him. "How about we pick up where we left off," I mumbled into his chest. "I would like that" he said and then kissed the top of my head.
"Now that that's settled how the hell do we get out of here," I questioned. He smiled down at me and took me outside of the dressing room he pulled out a set of keys and opened a door that led to a big sitting area where they had snacks drinks and other things.
In the room there was the whole gang. Everyone I haven't seen in so long and Sammi. 'Hey hey long time no see" Ashley winked at me. "Hey!" I said as I grabbed myself a coke. Andy tapped my arm indicating he wanted one too. I wasn't really feeling the alcohol tonight. "So you guys made up?" Sammi asked. I shrugged and gave a small smile which was enough of an answer to her.
So we spent the night getting reacquainted with each other and once midnight came we all walked to the bus and got into our bunks. Everyone watched as I got into Andy's bunk which was a little wierd. But it was all okay as I climbed into the bunk and layed in his arms. I breathed in his scent. In only 12 hours we would be home.
