Cold Veins and Hollow Hearts

"Andy! Stop the FUCKING TRUCK!" I yelled out, us still on the freeway. Micky was asleep, until I just brought my little episode out. Cc stomped on the brakes, and I could have went flying threw the glass, but Andy's arms where wrapped around me so I couldn't fall off his lap.

"What?! I'm trying! Okay? I'm trying to think of something! I don't really know what to do in this type of situation!" Andy yelled with hot tears running down his cheeks, and I started to get uncomfortable since he just yelled at me. I felt my own eyes begin to water.

"I don't know what to do! Okay? Please understand I'm trying!" I look down, but he grabs my chin so I am looking directly in to his blue eyes, they are incredibly light, I have never seen eyes as bright as his. I only not as I let the few tears escape.

"Please don't cry.." Andy brings me into an embracing hug like "outlaw" did with Micky, accept he was able to rock me a little as I sat on his lap. I only new Andy for two days, and it feels like I can trust him completely.

"What about my family?.." I whispered. Yea, I haven't spoken to them in years, and they haven't been the nicest lovely couple to a little girl, but there still my parents.

"I haven't seen them in over 5 years.." I let more tears spill out, as Andy continued to comfort me. "Is any body else still alive?" I ask, looking at any body in the truck for an answer. They only stayed silent. Micky let out a few loose tears as well. "What happens to us?" I ask, looking into Andy's saddened eyes. After couple more minutes of me dropping the loos tears onto Andy's muscle tee, I was able to settle things down.

"Andy.." Cc tried to get Andy's attention. "Yea." He moaned as if he was tired if speaking, never breaking contact from the window. "I told Jeremy (jinx) that would meet him at the truck shop, we have to go." Cc told in almost a mere whisper. "Okay, let's go get him. What about jake?" Andy asked with no emotion in his voice.

"He said that him and Ella want to evacuate the city with his family.." Cc said. "Shit.." Andy said underneath his breathe. "Wh-who's Jeremy?" Micky whispered. "He's a very close friends of ours, he's going to be joining us. He's a good man, just call him jinx." Micky made an "oh" and we went on, driving, until we got off a quit exit. No cars, no people, none of those.. Things.

Well there's a few here and there but my eyes where closed most of the time. Then A few turns and minutes later, Andy was shaking me.

Then we all got out of the truck, and I saw a man with somewhat long hair, smoking a cigarette, with a bag near him. He smiled and greeted everybody. After we found out that there wasn't enough space we have to change cars. Well this is nice, because we are in a truck parking lot. And I told mean truck, I mean work trucks. Like a u-haul.

"Kelley, go grab your bags, CC found some keys for one of the u-hauls, but please be quiet. Just holler if you need me." Andy told me, I could only nod, as I make my way towards the old pickup truck.

After about 5 minutes of arranging my things, I was about to grab them, until something lunged into my side and I was knocked down to the pavement. I look up and I see hallow deathly vivid eyes that are as white as snow, and boils plastered all over this mans once living skin. It's teeth where rotted like his skull.

He had yellow eye sockets and his blood red teeth was oozing with saliva, then he got close to my neck, and tried to chomp with his jaw, dead weight on me. He is so heavy. And it was so hard to scream, but I managed.

I screamed for Andy or cc till my hearts content. Then all of the air left my stomach left when the dead man on top of me, stuck his bony knee in my stomach. I groaned in pain and I don't think I could handle much more.

Then enough was enough. I felt the darkness cover my eyes as I loose all of my strength. But right before I let go, fully. I felt a body tackle the dead guy on top of me. I heard grunting. Then before I fully fell into the darkness, I heard a piercing scream from Andy.

"Kelley!!" Then I lost consciousness.
