It had been two weeks of waiting on Lial hand and foot but right at that moment as I basked in the hot summer air and the loud roar of people and music it was worth it. The masses of bodies threw me off. They moved like water, rocking to the beat in sync as the words ran over us and cleansed us of the fear , hatred and sadness outside life could bring. I lost my self in front of a Pierce The Veil concert. A Match To Water belted out of the speakers and vibrated it way through my body. My life made sense and when I opened my eyes and met eyes with Vic the lead singer all the fear and uncertainty drained from me. We all had scars and no one would ever judge me here.
That feel followed me till I walked to the tent line. Lial was at the beer tent so I was free to be myself. I waved at bands, giggling when they waved back. Then I noticed the tent at the end. The emblem stood for all I did and all I wanted. Black Veil Brides stood less than 60 feet from me. I looked at my clothes and checked my make up. I wore a black tank top. Black skinnys and my converse. My make up was just black eye liner but I felt presentable. As I got closer my cockiness dropped away . I nerviously looked up and was startled to meet deep blue eyes and a smile that melted your heart. My feet countinued but my brain sputtered and laid useless in my skull. When It rebooted I was next in line and CC was looking up at me like I had crawled out of a hole and claimed to be the grim reaper. "Are you there? Is she broken?" I stuttered over my words blushing a bright red before getting it right. "Yeah.. I'm Kayla. I'm such a big fan . I love you guys." Jinxx smiled at me with CC who was giggling like a little girl. "The blushy ones are so fun to meet. " I dropped my head to cover my eyes with my hair. I got down the line but I couldn't bring myself to look at Andy. Keeping my head down the whole time I gave him my fan girl speech about his music and how the band was the reason I was there. A leather bound finger lifted my chin and ran over my lower lip. "Look up Darling. We aren't so bad you can't look at us . I only bite a little. " Ashley was standing in front of me smiling down at Andy . I got the courage and asked for his sig. When we met eyes finally as he handed it back I couldn't break eye contact . As much as I wanted to his eyes were so deep and beautiful. I finally got my brain plugged back in and went to scrurry away but some grabbed my gun straps hanging from my belt loops. I whipped around trying to catch myself and was meet face to face with Andy. I gasped at his closeness. " Come to the stage later Okay?" I nodded. Even as I walked away I still couldn't breathe.
