i diddnt really like this new life. being stuck in this boring compound everyday not knowing wether we would have to fight or not the next day. life was so much simpler before all of this happened but it only takes one persuasive person to change everyones perspetive. before all of this happend my dad, brother and i used to live in a little wooden barn in a small village next to texas. my mother died when i was about 12 and my brother was 8 which left us with no income because mum was the only one with a job. my dad was addicted to alcohol so he was never sober enough to get a job let alone actually show up for work. my brother and i went to a small school not too far away from our house, i was always bullied for being ginger so i diddnt really have any friends but my brother had loads of mates.
i diddnt really care about not having any friends because i had music. yeah i know thats cheesy but its true, music would always cheer me up whenever i was bullied. when i was 16 my dad managed to give up drinking and get a job at a local shop, it wasnt much but at least we had some money. with his first paycheck my dad bought me a guitar, i played that think until my fingers bled and i actually ended up quite good. i would play outside of the store my dad worked at for tips which was when i met gary. gary was about 40 years old and he was part of a local church, he asked me to play a couple songs for them and he introduced me to god. being a 16 year old girl with no friends i prayed to god every day and every night and every sunday i would go to church, this made me feel like i was a part of something good but i never realised what was actually going on.
gary told us that the church group was called for all and every religion but it wasnt until about a year later that i realised it spelt F.E.A.R. i still remember the day F.E.A.R took over. it was a pretty sunny sunday so i was on my way to church when i saw two black figures standing outside the doors. they were wearing strange black masks that covered their whole heads.
they asked me my name before i entered the church so i just thought it was some kind of security not really thinking bout the elaborate costumes. inside the church everything was dark exept a few candles. everyone was sat on the floor because all of the seats had been taken away and gary was talking to them. something wasnt right, he was chanting something that diddnt seem english and no one was moving. he diddnt even realise i had entered the room because he was so focased on the people on front of him. i stepped forward as quietly as i could to see what was happening but a floor board creaked under my feet. shit. suddenly a bunch of red eyes turned to face me, i screamed and ran out, i ran as far as i could before i realised that most people had the same glowing eyes. i ran into some random abandoned house to use the computer and typed in F.E.A.R.
suddenly everything became clear to me F.E.A.R wasnt trying to get people closer to god, it was controling people, brainwashing them to believe nothing but F.E.A.Rs rules and myths. i cant remember much more after that but somehow i found the wild ones. it was quite a shock to realise that everyone i knew even my brother and my dad had been brainwashed by these messed up people and there was no way to stop them from brainwashing the rest of the world. i decided to join the wild ones because they were all in the same position as me, we were all fans of black veil brides which somehow made us almost immune to the power of F.E.A.R, not for long though, F.E.A.R found a way to control us too and now the wild ones army is only half as big as it used to be but now we have the rebels aka black veil brides. using twitter we managed to find them in their compound in the middle of the desert.
it has been three months sinse F.E.A.R began to take over everything and everyone we knew and loved. were all pretty much orphans in this new life. no one has all of their family anymore but we consider eachother family because we are all we have left. we vowed to eachother that we would do anything to keep the rebels safe as they have saved out lifes in so many ways. all of us wild ones have different pasts and even different futures but we vowed to keep the rebels safe and thats what we intend to do. i just thought i would be protecting them, i never thought i would be in love with one of them.
