It's been a week since. I left the tour. Ashley updated his status every night since then. I haven't called him or statuses anything. I had an appointment with an OB/GYN to find out what gender the baby was and then I was gonna get a new tattoo.
"Miss Simpson." A nurse in pink Betty Boop scrubs called my name. I got up and followed her to a empty room where she told me the doctor would be with me in a minute. And she was right.
"Well Miss Simpson you are going to have a beautiful... Baby girl." The doctor said coming back with my results. Ashley wanted a girl, I smiled and pulled down my shirt.
"Thank you." I said walking out about ten minutes later. I drove to the tattoo shop Ashley took me too.
"Is Kelly here?" I asked as I approached the counter. I saw Kelly poke her head out of the back office, and smile. Hey ever so light brown eyes seemed cheerful then when I last saw her. She hugged me, and crossed her arms over her chest.
"You seem..different I don't know but. How can I help you out Miss rock star" she asked laughing.
"I want to get a new tattoo." I said jittery. Her smile grew wider. Soon I would have. 'Selfish Machines' written on my wrist.

Ashley's P.O.V
My nose was runny, and my voice was harsh. The music didn't sound as great. Kit was taking Quinn's lead. I woke up every day sad and miserable because Quinn's beautiful face wasn't next to be me. My bunk didn't feel the same, nothing felt the same. I statused everyday hoping she would status back. I was useless without her. She was a lifeline, and she broke into a silent beep. Jacky lied Quinn really was different: that's what made her unique and unbreakable. But she hurt all the same. Between sniffles, I heard Kit and Elliot talking, more tears rolled down my cheeks. My phone went off..... Selflessly I looked at the caller I.D. it was Quinn. I smiled and picked up the call.
"Ashley..." Her smokey voice came through the speaker. I sobbed, that was another thing I missed.
"Princess.... P-please come b-back." I studdered, she giggled she was probably happy to be back in Washington because of the fact she needed to take care of things.I smiled and wiped away my tears.
"Ashley.... I can't.... But do you want a surprise?" She asked I nodded.
"Yeah..."
"Okay well first you have to stop crying. Tell me when."
I stopped and brushed away more tears, and ran a hand through my hair.
"Okay."
"You sure?" She asked making it seem like a lot to handle.
"Hah. Yeah."
"Ashley.........It's a girl." She said my jaw dropped and my heart skipped a beat. I smiled and pushed my head into the pillow. I felt a wave of both happiness and depression wake over me. She did the ultrasound without me, But I was happy she surprised me.
"Oh my............ I thought you were going to say 'I'll see you soon.'" I said sighing. She was happy I was exstatic. And happy the baby was a girl, but I was sad I wasn't there to find out....
"Ash. Is everything okay?"
"Yeah I'm just kind of sad you left, and stuff." I said, pulling my blacket up and covering my bare chest.
"Don't be too sad. I'll see you in a couple weeks...... I won't do anything stupid I promise." she promised I smiled. She was cute espicially when she wasn't near me.
"Okay."
"Because if you're sad when you come home. i'll be sad when you come home. I love you Ash."
"I love you to Quinn. I'll see you in a couple of weeks." I said sniffling.
"Don't cry I got to go I love you ash. Please Don't forget that." She said before hanging up. I wasn't as sad as I was before she called, If not I suppose I was better. I was gonna have a baby and possibly marry Quinn.... And we'll live happily ever after...... Unless of course Jacky decides to fuck that up to.
