I Love You More Than I Can Ever Scream

"Hey where is everyone?" I called out to my silent house. Chris, Amy, and Andy were trailing behind me.

"Jasey!" I heard my mother's voice, which sounded thick with sadness. She ran into the front room, and immediately threw her arms around me. I felt tears form in my eyes, blurring my vision. I blinked them away knowing I had to be strong for my mother. "I missed you so much."

"I missed you too, mommy." I said, and she squeezed me. We pulled away from each other, and she looked at the three behind me.

"Hi Amy, Chris, Andy." She smiled at them all.

"Hey Anne." Amy leaned in before anyone had a chance to say anything else , "I'm so sorry if their is anything we can do, please let us know."

"Thank you." My mom said, and she hugged Chris and Andy hello. "Would you all like some coffee or anything?"

"That would be lovely." Amy smiled. The three adults walked into the kitchen, while Andy and I stayed in the front room.

"I want to know why my mom didn't offer to see Dani, and I want know where my father is." I said moving towards the stairs.

"Jasey, I'm sure there is a reason she didn't offer it right away, let's just go to the kitchen-" I didn't listen to the rest of his reply, I just ran up the stairs to Dani's room. I heard Andy's footsteps behind me.

"Jasey? Where are you?" My mother called. I stopped in my tracks, and Andy bumped into me holding on to my waist.

"I'm going to see Dani." I said.

"She already has somebody visiting her, wait a few minutes." I rolled my eyes.

"Who? Dad?" I asked.

"No, dad is at the store. Just come down here." She said, anger ringing in her tone.

"Mom, I don't care who is in there, I want to see my sister." I said, and kept moving up the stairs.

Once I reached her door, I shakily turned the knob. Andy's hand was around my waist, as I pushed the door open.

The sight before me puzzled me more than anything.

Danielle was laying in her bed. Iv's, tubes, and machines were hooked up to her, but that's not what suprised me. What suprised me was the tan, dark brown haired guy sitting next to her holding her hand.

"Jasey!" Her face lit up when her eyes met mine. I moved closer to her, ignoring the guy, and leaned in to hug her.

"Dani I missed you so much." I said. My heart broke when I pulled away from her and so how dull her usually bright brown eyes were.

"I missed you too!" She smiled at me, "Hey Andy."

"Hey Dani." Andy smiled sitting down on her bed next to me. I noticed the guy looking at us uncomfortably.

"Oh right!" Danielle giggled, "Guys this is my boyfriend, Colin."

"Hello." I smiled shaking his hand. "I'm Jasey, and this is my boyfriend, Andy."

"Nice to meet you." He nodded. I was taken back by how deep his voice was. It rivaled Andy's.

"When did you two meet?" I asked, wondering why nobody bothered to tell me about this.

"About a month before I got sick." She said looking at him, smiling. My heart went out to the pair.

The he way he looked at Danielle. It came close to the way I looked at Andy, or he me. They were head over heels for each other, and that love was going to be ripped apart in a few months time. I felt Andy's hand rest in mine, and I looked at him. He was blinking tears away, and I rubbed his shoulder reassuringly while Danielle and Colin dove into the story of how they met. I felt sadness consumed as I saw the way they talked and laughed like nothing was wrong. They were a beautiful couple, that would have made beautiful children, and happily would have grown old together.

That's not going to happen anymore, and that's not fair. They should get to love each other for as long as they want. Neither of them should have to be left by themselves. I can't imagine a world without Andy. Poor Colin was going to be left alone.

Neither of them even flinched, though. They smiled, and laughed, and sometime during the story Colin climbed in the bed with her. Andy, and I moved to the chair he sat in so they had room. I was glad she found someone better than Peter but I had wished, they could have met so much earlier than when they did. That way they could have had a little while longer, and so many things wouldn't have happened.

"Colin what grade are you in?" I asked.

"I'm in eleventh like Dani." He replied.

"Oh great." I smiled.

"So Andy I heard your in a band." Colin said.

"Yeah I am." Andy nodded.

"That's sweet. Black Veil Brides right?" He asked.

"Yeah, heard of us?" Andy said.

"Can't say I have but I'm sure you guys rock." He smiled.

"Jasey will you go get mom?" Danielle asked.

"Yeah why?" I said, worriedly.

"I'm not feeling well, I need to use the bathroom." Danielle jumped up from her bed, and ran into her bathroom, adrenaline pushing her there.

"What's happening!?" I asked frantically. Is this it? Is now the time? I didn't realize this would happen so soon!

"Don't worry, she does this a lot." Colin said a frown plastered on his face.

The words rang in my ears, as I stood up and ran to get my mother.

She does this a lot.
