I Love You More Than I Can Ever Scream

I sighed adjusting myself in the uncomfortable velvet seat. Sandra looked at me with a look of relief as the curtain for act ll of the Nutcracker opened. Jasey warned us that the first act was a little long winded and she wasn't in it at all. I sat in between Sandra and Jasey's mother. Annabelle, Chris, Matt, Eve, Danny, Bobby, and Mark all sat on the other side of Sandra. Jasey explained to us that this Nutcracker was the opening night for the companies production. It was the only chance she had to perform her role so she wanted it to be amazing. I watched the stage intently as she came out for the opening in a sparkling pink tutu. Her partner lifted her high as other characters seemed to crowd around her. Tons of other people came out onto the stage, and Jasey's smile never hitched. The opening finished, and Jasey took one last lift off of the stage. For a long time different dances were performed on the stage. Then finally after the Waltz of The Flowers that seemed to drag on forever, I watched Jasey very carefully walk out onto stage. The soft music began to play from the orchestra in the front of the room. Jasey began dancing, and I was awe struck. She was perfect, everything about her. She radiated on that stage, and every time she was lifted I saw her smile widen. Tears of joy escaped her eyes, as the music started to get more intense. She was doing unbelievable things I never would have imagined. She trusted her partner with all of her heart. She was jumping into his arms, without fear. I had never seen someone so happy before. I looked over at Jasey's mother. She had tears streaming down her face. The first dance ended, and the boy stayed out on stage to do a solo. He leaped up high, and I suddenly had respect for every male dancer in the world. This guy was ripped. Once he was finished, Jasey came out again. She started dancing to the famous Sugar Plum Fairy song. I had even heard it before. Her tiny legs moved faster than I thought humanly possible. She started turning, and her head whipped back in forth before ending in an extravagant pose. The boy came out again, and he danced for a little while until Jasey came back, and started turning again. This time she stayed in the same place, and used her leg to propel her around. She did it for so long, she had to be dizzy, but she kept dancing. The boy came back out, and the music became incredibly dramatic. They leaped, and turned together on the same beats. They finished in a lift, and Jasey came down. They both took a huge bow towards the audience, and everyone stood up, giving them a standing ovation. She had tears streaming down her face, as they walked off. After their dance, their was a finale. When Jasey danced the music was at the highest point. Suddenly, the Nutcracker finished. The whole cast took their bows, and ran off the stage. After the show we all waited for Jasey in the lobby. She came out with her partner, and when people caught sight of her the whole lobby applauded. She shook so many peoples hand I thought it was going to fall off, she said hello to her parents and hugged them. Danielle didn't come, much to Jasey's dismay. I waited with everyone while Jasey finished up talking to anyone who came up to her. She had warned me this would happen so I waited patiently. Finally, she ran to me, and I met her half way, I spun her around in my arms and kissed her passionately.
"That was amazing!" I exclaimed, "Your amazing!"
"Thank you!" She said resting her forehead against mine.
"I love you!" I said kissing her nose.
"I love you too!" She said squeezing me in a hug before pulling away to say hi to everyone else. Once she thanked everyone for coming, she said goodbye to her parents for two weeks, and we all walked off to my car. Jasey's suitcase was already packed inside the van that's parked at my house. The same van where everything would change.
