Chapter 4

Raven's POV

Scarlet and I are led to a small, private room that looks like a dressing room. We are left alone to wait for the guys and of course my curiosity gets the best of me. I can't sit still and I keep pacing the room. I check out the mirrors where the guys must get their hair and makeup done. I run my fingers down it gently and just stare. Scarlet perched herself on the leather sofa and calmly waited.

I get ready to pick up a guitar pick off one of the makeup stations when I hear talking and the door handle click. Dropping the pick, I run and throw myself on the couch and get situated just as the guys walk in. Scarlet looks like she's about to pass out and I'm trying to reign in my thoughts and emotions.

I am within spitting distance of the world's 5 hottest guys and my mind is in the gutter. I do my best to bite my tongue and not say something idiotic, but the closer they guys come to us, the more I can hear the stupid thoughts in my mind just reeling, ready to leak out like word vomit. Andy comes over to us, and shakes both of our hands. I do all I can not to throw myself at him and attack his lips with mine. Not to mention, those blue eyes of his make me weak in the knees.

As he passes me, I look over to Scarlet who is calm and collected as can be. I kinda just stare at her for a minute as she talks to Andy like she's known him all her life. I feel a tap on my shoulder, and turn to see Ashley standing there. I am praying to the Gods that he doesn't remember my screw up from earlier. I hold out my hand and he takes it with a smile. "Hey! Remember me? I'm Ashley Purdy!" He laughs again, and I blush 50 shades of red.

I nod my head and give him a shy smile. Damn it, he remembered. "Yes, I remember who you are. It's nice to meet you." I respond shyly. Ashley smiles with a nod and pats my shoulder. "It's my pleasure." I nod again and he moves on to meet Scarlet. CC is next in line, and before shaking my hand he moves his drum sticks to the other, and holds out his hand. I take it, and shake it gently. "G-great concert, CC." I say, praising him. "Thanks, Red." Both of my eyebrows shoot up in surprise. Christian "CC" Coma just gave me a nickname.

Jake is next in line, and he grins as he takes my hand. I remember that same grin from when I asked Ashley who he was before the concert. Fuck...he remembers it too. I will never live this down. I can just see it now. "Black Veil Brides fan, Raven Michelson, goes to one of their concerts and asks Ashley Purdy who he is! Read all about it as the guys tell us all!" "Great job as always, Jake." I say to him, not stuttering for once. He smiles a genuine smile and nods. "Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it, we try our best." I nod again and he goes on.

Jinxx is the last one to shake my hand, and for once he doesn't smile or grin at my screw ups. I like him instantly. Well, more than usual anyways. "Hey, don't worry about the others, they are just giving you a hard time. It's all fun and games." I nod once more and smile at him. "Thanks. I have a feeling I won't live this down for a while." I tell him, as I blush and bite my bottom lip nervously. "Don't worry about it, it'll die down in a few hours." I give him a quick smile after hearing that. "I enjoyed the concert. This is the first one I've ever been to. It's my birthday so my best friend Scarlet got us tickets and this." Oh God...now I'm blabbering.

Jinxx's smile gets even bigger when I tell him it's my birthday. "Hey guys! It's Red's birthday today." He blurts out to the others. All the guys turn to me, and start singing happy birthday. I feel my cheeks heat up, and when it's over I thank them. After they finish shaking our hands, they take a seat and grab a drink. They offer one to us, and so it begins. We are talking like average people and the feeling is surreal.
