Raven's POV

It's been a week since we signed our record deal with Rise Records, and as promised we are going on our first tour. Andy has already contacted Austin Carlile from Of Mice and Men to make sure that us girls will be safe on the tour. I keep trying to tell him that we'll be fine, but he's paranoid so I left him be about the issue. The mail came earlier and our tour packets finally showed up. I ripped into mine like a rabid dog, but I can't help but to be excited. I flipped through the boring shit, like rules and what's expected of us, and right to the back page. The tour dates line the page in bold ink. It'll be a 3 month tour and we leave in a week.

I nod my head in approval even though I'm the only one reading this list. “It's not bad. I only have one show in Indiana and thank God it's in Indianapolis, so nobody I know will be there. It looks like I also have a few home shows, too.” I tell Andy. He takes the packet from me and scans over the list. “Yeah, you guys got some great places. I know for sure my parents will come to both Ohio shows because they want to meet you and the girls, I won't be there for that.” He informs me.

I pale at the mention of meeting Andy's parents. I have to do it alone, and we haven't told them that Andy and I are engaged. This is a nightmare. Andy brings me back to reality with the mention of something about the shows in California. “Since Black Veil Brides' tour is short, it'll be over in time for me and the guys to come to all your Cali shows.” I smile at the thought of that and suddenly the thoughts of meeting his family are gone from my mind.

While Andy and I discuss the details of the tour and all the logistics, a horn sounds outside and I look out the window. “Come check out our new ride!” I grab Andy's hand and pull him to bus awaiting outside. Our new band logo is plastered all over the side of the bus and the Monster Energy Drink logo fills up the rest of space. The driver, who's name is Will, greets me and shakes mine and Andy's hands. “Hi, I'm Raven. I'm the lead singer of The Angel Effect. You must be the driver for us?” I ask him. Will, who I learn, is in his late sixties and he doesn't have any family. “That's me. I've been in the business for 23 years, driving bands all over the nation. Feel free to check it out.” He says. I smile at him and go up the stairs with Andy right behind me.

The driver's seat is directly in front of me, but when I look to my left a whole new world opens up before me. A long leather couch runs down the left wall and stops at an island where there's a fully operational kitchen, complete with a mini refrigerator, a microwave, an oven and a sink. The wall across from me is another bench with leather seats. In the space between the kitchen and back of the bus sits a fully functional bathroom on the left, and extra closet space. Past there are the bunks, and they're quite comfortable. Andy sees me checking out each of the bunks and he smiles. “You'll think that's comfortable the first few nights, then you'll be so sick of these things that you'll never want to leave our bed again.” He says with a laugh.

“Which one do you think I should take?” I ask him while I look at the others. “You could take the bottom right bunk. That way we can match. Besides, after a concert when you're dead on your feet, or a night of partying, you don't want to have to climb. Besides, you're small so you'll have a ton of room to yourself.” He informs me. I nod and slide into the bunk. A DVD player is mounted on the underside of the top bunk a fold down screen is adjustable. “What do you do to make your bunk personalized and feel like home?” I ask.

“Usually I bring my favorite blankets, a picture of my family, posters to decorate, like my Batman one. I also make sure to grab my favorite movies and I keep a notebook and pens so I can write at night if I want. Don't worry, in the next week I'll help you get it all set up. Let's go check out your on board recording studio.” I clap excitedly like a little kid that's ready to go to the candy store. I follow Andy to the lounge area of the bus and he stops. Grabbing a remote, he presses a button and both sides of the bus slides out and the ceiling lifts up to reveal a second level. “Damn, Craig hooked you guys up. This is better than our bus.” Andy says, clearly impressed.

I see a soundboard that's similar to the one in Andy's home studio and I see amplifiers, a keyboard stand, all the correct guitar plugs and an electric drum kit. Scarlet's gonna freak when she sees that. “Holy shit. This bus is equipped with surround sound and it has room for us to basically put on a show from inside the bus.” I gape. “This is like a rolling mansion! I'm so excited. I'm sad to leave my fiance alone, but hopefully he'll manage.”
