Chapter 26


Raven’s POV

I’m engaged. Scratch that, I’m engaged to Andy Biersack. Holy shit, I’m going to be Mrs. Andy Biersack. It’s going to take some time to get used to that. Raven Lynne Biersack. I love it, it totally fits me. I can’t take my eyes off my ring either. It’s absolutely perfect. It’s a little hard to believe how things have changed for me. Just 5 months ago I was a teenage girl who had a drug addicted mother, one best friend, and was a fan of Black Veil Brides. Now I’m engaged and living with Black Veil Brides lead singer, I live in L.A., I’m getting my degree online, I have more than one best friend, I have a job and things are finally looking up. I can honestly say that I never imagined my life to turn out this way, but I wouldn’t change a thing.

I’ve been officially released from the hospital and thankfully my manager let me keep my job. I start back today and I’m actually excited about going back. Emerson and Ashley have hit things off well, so well that in fact she moved in with him. Crazy, I know. Ashley Purdy is off the market. After checking myself over in the mirror, I throw my boots on and grab my rucksack and head downstairs. I head to the kitchen to grab something to eat when I hear Batman playing in the living room. I smile to myself as I wait for coffee to finish. He’s such a man child, but he’s my man child. I let out a small giggle and nearly jump out of my skin when I feel a pair of arms around my waist and lips on my neck. “Mm, I do like you in leather. You look great. Are you sure you have to go in today? You could skip and you and I can spend the entire day in bed.” He winks at me and I can’t help but to blush.

Turning around in his arms, I place my hands on his bare chest and lean up to kiss him. “Well thank you very much. I like leather. And yes, I have to go in today. I’ve missed too much work already. I’m lucky to even still have a job. As tempting as that sounds right now, I really have to go. I promise to make it up to you.” I kiss him on the lips and he grabs my ass, pressing me to him so I’m pinned between him and the counter.

I can feel his erection against my belly and I know if I don’t leave right now, I’ll be here all day in bed with him. He stares down at me and gives me that heartbreaking smile that every girl swoons over. “Don’t make any plans after work.” He tells me. I nod to him and smile. “Why?” I ask. He grins to himself and leans in so his lips are right against the shell of my ear. “Because you are mine tonight and you’ll be busy.” I feel the butterflies in my stomach ignite and I’m pretty sure my ovaries are completely gone now. “Okay, I’ll see you after work. Have a good day and I love you.” I lean up and kiss him quickly on the lips before running out the door.

~3 hours later~

I’m standing at the counter figuring out the drawer while Emerson is working on folding t-shirts. Scarlet is in the back doing stocking for tomorrow’s inventory. That’s right, my best friend moved here to L.A. and she works here with us. I was ecstatic when she told me her parent’s let her stay here. I listen to the radio as ‘With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear' by Sleeping With Sirens comes on. Emerson and Scarlet both come out to the counter since we are on break and they look at me as I sing. “You’re amazing! I learned this song on guitar when I first got it.” Emerson says. Scarlet grabs two pens off the counter and drums along perfectly to the song. “Thanks, you guys are amazing too! Too bad you’re the only two who will ever hear it!”


CC’S POV

I decided to hit the mall before I have to go meet up with the guys at Andy’s place. I go into Hot Topic and as I’m browsing through shirts I hear familiar voices singing. I pull out my phone since they hadn’t noticed me yet, and I record the entire thing. I shove my phone back in my pocket and run back out to my car and head right to Andy’s with a smile plastered on my face.

I see the guys sitting around the living room and I grab a beer and join them. “Andy, did you know Raven can sing?” He looks over at me and raises an eyebrow. “Yeah, we saw her sing on the last leg of our tour remember?” I pull out my phone and find the recording. “I know that, but I meant she’s damn good just by herself. As in lead singer material, listen to this.” I start the recording and all the guys listen intently. “Damn, she’s a powerhouse. I had no idea she could sing like that. I’ve never heard her sing other than with us.” He says, clearly surprised.

Jinxx takes my phone and plays it again listening to it more closely. “You know, we should take this to the studio. We can call Kellin and see if they guys are in town. Have them come down and put the music behind it. We can surprise the girls at Sammi’s barbeque party. They have a great chance to get picked up by a label.” He says. The others shrug and agree and we head for the studio while Andy hits up Kellin Quinn about getting Sleeping With Sirens to come down to the studio with us.

Andy’s POV
-At the studio-

I contacted Kellin about seeing if he and his guys wanted to come down and help us out with our new project. Surprisingly he agreed and we’d be meeting them at the studio. Jinxx, myself, and Jake are working the soundboard while Sleeping With Sirens lays down the musical aspect of the song. CC and Ashley are working on new material for Black Veil Brides and Kellin is pulling Raven’s voice-over off the recording CC got so we can put it altogether.

Every time she sings, I can’t help but to smile. This girl, my girl, is amazing. I had no idea she could even sing, let alone do it incredibly well. We finish putting it altogether and run it through a few times to make sure it sounds perfect. We quickly thank Kellin and his guys and Jinxx invites them to Sammi’s birthday party so they can surprise Raven and the girls with us. I know she’s going to flip.
