Chapter 24
Raven’s POV
I’m reading over Juliet’s pregnancy results when Andy and the boys enter my room. Andy is talking to me, but I’m barely listening. I catch something out of the corner of my eye and look up. CC is holding a sign that says ‘RAVEN’ then Ashley is holding a sign that says ‘JUST’. I look to Jinxx and he has a sign that reads ‘SAY’ and last I see Jake with a sign that says ‘YES!’.I am so confused, until I look down and see Andy on one knee holding a box with a ring in it.
“Raven Michelson, will you marry me?” He asks again. I feel the papers slide from my hands and I cover my mouth as hot tears stream from my eyes. Even though I am not supposed to be out of bed, I get up and run to Andy, who stands up and catches me as I throw myself at him. “Yes. Yes a million times over. I’ll marry you.” I breathe through happy tears. I pull away to get a good look at him and realize that he’s smiling. “You just made me the happiest man alive.”
I stand up straight as he slides the ring onto my finger and I admire it with a smile. “I hope you like it. I wanted something that wasn’t traditional. The guys helped me pick it out.” He shrugs and gives me that lopsided grin. I nod and hug him again. “I love it. Thank you.” I pull back and go over to the guys. Starting with CC, he pulls me into a bear hug and picks me up off the floor. “Congrats Little Red! You’re going to be part of the family, officially.” I smile and nod. “Thanks, CC.” I move over to Ashley who has a huge grin on his face and he welcomes me in a hug. “Thank you, Ashley. For everything. “ I whisper to him. He smiled and looks at me. “Anytime. You’re family now, and we look out for family.”
I move over to Jinxx, who engulfs me in a tight hug and kisses my cheek. I giggle and blush, but hug him back. He’s like my big brother and I can’t help but to feel happy and loved around him. “Congratulations, Raven. You make Andy happier than I’ve ever seen him and I know this will be good for you guys.” I smile and thank him, but before I can turn away, he grabs both of my hands and pulls me off to the side. “Raven? Promise me that if you ever need to talk about anything at all, you’ll come to me. I can’t stand to see you like this. It hurt Sammi and I to find you like that and I never want to feel that again. You’re not alone. I know Andy couldn’t bear to lose you, and neither could the rest of us.” I look up at him with glossy eyes, but nod. I’m speechless. I’ve never had anyone who cared so much. It’ll take some getting used to.
“I promise if I need to talk, I’ll talk to you guys. Thank you, Jinxx, for all that you’ve done. I was a stranger who went from being an obsessed fan girl to your family. I hope I can make Andy happy and really get to know you guys.” He nods with a smile and pulls me into another hug. Last, but certainly not least, I head over to Jake and he gives me a big hug. “Congrats Little Red! You’re getting married. That’s huge! I’m sure Ella will be pleased to know that she’s not the only one getting married now.” I giggle and just nod.
Andy’s POV
I watch as the guys congratulate Raven on the engagement and it makes me smile to know that they accept her as one of us already. When Jinxx pulled her off to the side, I felt the pressure fall off my shoulders. I felt better knowing that she could go to any one of us if she needed us and Jinxx has a way with words. “Alright, alright. You’ve all had your fun, now give me back my fiancé. “I open my arms and Raven walks into them. She looks up at me and smiles. “I get to go home today.”
I let go of her and grab the Hot Topic bag out of the chair and hand it to her. “What’s this?” She asks as she takes the bag. I smile and shrug. “Me and the guys decided you’d need something to go home in and you didn’t have anything at the house, so we went shopping. We thought you could use a nice treat.” She smiles and thanks us all again. The guys smile and wave it off. “Go get dressed. I’ll get the nurse and get your discharge papers.” I grab her chin gently and press my lips to hers.
Raven’s POV

A grin spreads across my face as I admire the clothes they picked out. I won’t lie, for guys, they have impeccable clothing taste. I laugh at the leggings, seeing that they are Black Veil Brides. I quickly get dressed and make my way out to the guys. They all whistle and admire their work as I model it. Andy and a nurse return and she check my vitals and I sign the papers. I’m now a free woman. “Let’s go celebrate. The girls don’t know about this, they’ll be glad to know.” Andy says as he wraps an arm around my shoulders. I smile and we all agree.
