Ever since that night in the alley, I have been very jumpy. I mean, I couldn't tell anybody what happend. And if I were to tell anybody, what would I say?

"I was attacked by something that wasn't human! And he sucked my blood! And now I have this bite mark!" That's what I would say. But I know I would get locked up. As I get up to feed crow, I just think about the face, I saw in the darkness.

A tall man, with a very low voice. Blue eyes- or yellow. As I recalled seeing them flicker back and forth quickly. long, dark hair, ivory skin. And almost perfect teeth. Well, when his eyes where Cat like he had fangs.

I dont one know why, but I couldn't get him out of my mind. The door rang. I quickly finished making crows lunch, and quickly walked to the door.

I opened it to find, my pretty much only friend. She also worked at the coffee shop with me. Her name was desi. Well I called her desi. Her real name is destiny. She was tall, slim pale, and had brown eyes with black hair. She had a startle far when I answered the door.

"Hey des-"
"turn. On. The. News." Her eyes wide with fear. What was so big that she came all the way I've here just so I watch the news? I quickly envied her in, and plopped down on my small couch to turn on the tv.

"Breaking News. Crime scene investigators found the body of Bill Walters found dead, and with his throat literally ripped out. No one knows how this incessant has happend. There are no suspects that we know of so far-" then I had to mute the tv and change the channel to the food network. I look over to desi. Her eyes still wide.

My mouth was open, with eyes that I can't trust. That was the man, who tried to Rob and maby even kill me. I was there. It wasn't a dream. That can only mean that the man who saved me was still alive. But.. We're is he? I itch my neck where the strange man bit me.

(ANDYS POV)

i watched from the window, on the other building, looking threw the young girls window, inside her apartment. She had a look of shock on her face, as her heart beat quickens up. I remember her smell from the night before. Vanilla, and coffee.

She was watching the news with her friend. I still didn't catch either of there names. The tv had shown the body and news report from last night. The man I killed. Then I saw her itch her neck, where I bit her.

I have a feeling that that she is smarter than most girls. She has a more 'bigger' mind, and thinks outside the box. I bet she even dreams every night. She was not stupid or foolish.

I feel her heartbeat quicken as she gets up, and shuts the blinds where I cannot see her. She knows she is being watched. That's normal. When an incubus bites a human, and if they live, they are specially bonded now. And that bond will never break.

I knew I should have killed her, now we are bonded for life. I can feel when she is in danger, I can hear her heartbeat. I can share her feelings, and.. Well, the bite mark also shows that she belongs to me. If a vampire or another creature was around her, they would know she's mine.

I smiled led at the thought. I didn't kill her yesterday because I felt the need to protect her. And that I will do.

i heard the girls friend speak up.

"Is everything okay?" She asked. I guess she noticed her friend being very in easy.

"Yea, it's just very bright in here." She told her.

"Are you sure Kelley? You seem really jumpy."
"Yea. I'm fine." Kelley spoke, as her heart beat quickens

her ear name is Kelley.
