When Darkness Is All You See..

It was around 7 in the morning, and I am starving. I have been town to town, but nowhere as big as this place. I notice a coffee shop down the road.

Then something catches my scent. Vanilla, coffee... Young blood- precisely female. Her blood smelt of delicious crimson roses. It made my mouth water. I could practically taste her. I walk into the coffee shop, but I see a young blonde working there, smells of lavender and chocolate.

Not my girl, but will have to do. I walk up to the corner where you order the drinks. "Hi welcome to Starbucks, what can I do for you-" I flash my dark eyes to a fire- golden color and she is instantly under my power.

"Hello beautiful. The only thing that I would like," I smirk sending a blush up her pink neck. I could see the blood veins pulsing threw her neck. "Is you." I smile. In a heartbeat I am behind her, sending love bites up her neck, earning moans from the young girl. Before I flick my tongue on her pulse, I whisper warm breathe into her ear. "Is there any where a little more private we can go?" I hum in her ear, flicking my eyes gold again.

Her breathe hitches as she turns and starts strutting to the public bathroom. As she gets into the one person large bathroom, I walk in behind her, shutting and locking the door behind me, my grin never leaving my lips. Before I could even think my cold lips where back with her warm, porcelain skin. Her moans where loud, as she tried to un bottom her shirt, as she playfully bit my chest. Oh the things I could do to women.

I had her turned around to where her back was up against my chest, and her arms where behind her, me pinning them together with my hands. Her still moaning, me easily seducing her. She was actually very beautiful. Long blonde hair, blue eyes, light skin, and some nice breasts. I take one of my hands and start to rub her bra, as she groans. I take the chance now, as her eyes are closed in peer bliss, I slip out my fangs, and easily bite down on her neck. At first she was moaning, and enjoying it. Until she felt a hurting feeling, and a pain in her neck.

When she couldn't get her arms out of my grasp, she screamed and panicked. I had a pretty good hold on her to. I took at least 4 gulps of blood, before she kicked me in the groin. I fell to my knees, as see that she is trying but failing to get out of the bathroom window. I grab her by the leg, and drag her back in, as she is screaming and sobbing, hoping that somebody finds her.

I was able to pin her arms above her, and I laid on top of her, twisting my legs with hers so she couldn't kick. Before I knew it, I was the one moaning. As I carelessly bit into her throat, crimson slashing all over my tongue as I began to drain the girl. She screamed, but seconds later. Was quit, I felt her deadly pulse on my tongue as I bit down even harder, getting more blood in the process, her body less active. She was breathing, but barely. I stood up, watching her try and stay conscious. I laughed.

Her eyes began to shut. I then came up with an idea. I grab my own wrist, and slip my fangs out once again, biting down on my wrist. I put my arm over her mouth as I heard a gulp, and that's all she needed. My Wrist then closed and the girl fell on conscious. I easily slip my arms around her head, and snap her neck out of place, breaking it. She dies instantly.

Before I knew it, there was blood all over from the bash I gave her from her head and from her neck. I leave her corpse there on the floor for others to find. Soon she will be reunited with me. I grin as I step out of the coffee shop, it now 8:00 people look more busy. I walk around, finding whatever this town will give me. Then soon, she will be free from the humans grasp, and I shall find the young monster I have created..

(Kelleys pov)

I woke up to tickles coming from my neck. It felt nice. I giggle as I feel little love bites from my neck to my shoulder. I crack and eye open to see at Andy is Pecking my shoulder. "Good morning to you to." I smile. "Good morning." He told me.

Ever since I met him, he was the mysterious type. But I liked it. I always liked the mysterious. Same as the monsters and shit, I would always make up story's when I was younger. "Do you have work today?" I groan.

I check the clock, oh great already 2 minutes late. Juliet's shift ended at least half an hour ago. "I don't wanna get out of bed!" I whine. The boss is already gonna kick my ass, I'm already late. "Let me help?" Andy coos in my cheek. He then rolls off the bed from the other side and stands on my side. He picks me up, bridal style, and I laugh the entire time he carries me to the bathroom.

He sets me down on the sink as he goes to turn on the water. I yawn as he stretches. Then he groans. "What's wrong?" I ask him. He lies threw gritted teeth as he tries to keep his face normal. "Nothing, just a bit hungry. I will be right back, I'm just gonna go get something-" I stop him before he can make it out of the bathroom, an I grab his arm.

"Andy.." I cooed. I know he's hungry. And I know he wants my blood, i mean he obviously likes it. He stops and clamps his eyes shut. "Kelley, just let me handle this on my own." He asked me with light green eyes. Now I know he wants my blood. Why else would his eyes be flashing green when he's hungry?

"Andy. I know you want to. And you can if you want to. We're mates." I told him reassuringly. He then dropped his head an sighed loudly. Then Andy smiled at me, but this time his eyes turning a iridescent green. And his fangs where showing.

Okay, honestly he was hot as hell with his baby blue crystals, but oh god those bright glowing green eyes..WOW, and those hot teeth weren't doing any good. Even when I was a young girl I was obsessed with mythical creatures. "Are you sure?" Andy turns to me, and holds my wrists gently. "Yes, and anyways.." I get closer to him, and whisper in his ear. "I feel closer to you when you do bite me." I smirk, and kiss him, my tongues feeling one of his fangs.

He then kissed me back. It was getting a nice temperature in here because if the steamy water. He then glides his mouth pecking my cheek. And then sucking on my jawline, sending shivers up my back. I knew there was going to be a hickey there. Then as I relaxed my neck, I felt his fangs slip in with an easy bit of pressure.

I couldn't feel more alive when Andy drank from me. I felt that my life was at risk, but I also felt an edge, I felt my heart race quicken, then slow down. It was a nice calming feeling, that I felt brought us closer together. Before I knew it, I was tasting my own blood on Andy's lips, as his skin glistened in the hot shower. His wet hair hanging off his shoulders, his eyes still green, but more a calming ocean green. "I love you." I croaked in his ear. "I love you to." He rapped his arms around my naked body ad brought me closer to him.

After the shower I got dressed for work, I told Andy to stay here seeming that waiting for me would be pointless. I walked to work, as I was that Juliet's car was still here. That was weird. I walked In to see my boss more calmer than I thought. He just looked more stressed. "Kelley, your 45 minutes late." He complained. I grab my apron and get the coffee stuff in place for customers.

"I'm so sorry, my alarm clock didn't go off and I needed a shower." I told him. He was a very understanding man, he actually Owned a record store as well. "Okay." He sighs. "Just- don't let it happen again." He itches his long black hair. "No problem jake. I'm just gonna go clean up the bathroom before we get any serious customers, it is Sunday!" I smile at him. He nods and gets back to servings customer. There where only two people here. Slow morning? I grab the paper towels and bathroom cleaner, and head to the back.

I turn the bathroom door handle. Oh great, the doors locked from the inside. I knock on the door. No answer. I set the things down ad get the keys. I notice that Juliet still hasn't clocked out, as I see her un- touched slip. Where is she?

I grab the keys and head back to the bathroom. Easily slipping the key threw threw the door, I open the door and I stood there shocked.

Blood, lots of blood, and the lifeless body of my co-worker on the floor. Juliet.

I did the only thing I could do. And that was to scream at the top of my lungs.

(Andy's pov)
I felt a stinging sensation on my heart, which made me grasp my chest. Something was wrong. Then my heartbeat quickened, beating twice as fast as regular. I felt my hand shaking with fear. What's wrong with me? Then it hit me.

I now remembered, when the other mate was scared or in danger, the other mate felt It. I felt frightened, scared and adrenaline run threw me. I was already running to the coffee shop and in two minutes I was there.

I hear Kelleys piercing scream, and I am there in a heartbeat. I was next to her, trying to calm her down, trying anything to make her calm. "Kelley! Calm down! What's wrong?"I tried to ask her, I held onto her wrists.

She cried and she pointed to the door next to her. She was crying really loud. "Jake!" She hollered, not more than five seconds later, the man I assume is the boss came running next to her. "What wro-"

he looked to the bathroom with fear drawing all over his face. "Oh Jesus.. Ca-call the police!" He loudly spoke. And they both where just going threw the motions. I turned my head to The bathroom in fear of what I might see, but I knew I had to see it. My entire stomach dropped.

There was a lifeless body of Kelleys co-worker, I would assume, on the floor, with blood everywhere, and her neck twisted. I looked away and wince at the site. I swallowed hard and turned back. A murder? It sure as hell wasn't an accident. I examine the dead body, trying to find something suspicious. And I found it.

Two bite marks, and you can tell that it was ruff. I let my fangs slip out and bite my thumb. I run my blood over the girls neck, so the mark heals leaving a very dull scar behind. As my own wound heals Kelley comes running back. "Jakes calling the police." Kelleys curly pony tail crazy hanging over her shoulders.

She had very red puffy eyes and was still crying. As tears spilled down her eyes, I comforted her. I brought her chin up, and with very stern eyes, I started asking the questions I needed. "Kelley. Who is this girl and how do you know her." She saw the seriousness in my voice. "I went to grade school with her, and we got the same job here, her name was Juliet." She cried.

"Kelley, you have to understand, this is not murder. She was bitten, and she will turn. But her master broke her neck, so she will be sent to the morgue." It took her a minute, she stopped crying, but concern in her eyes.

"W-what do you mean.. Bitten?" She slowly asked. Her boss was up in the front turning the open sign to closed, and still talking to the 911 dispatcher. I had to be quite. "Your friend was lured in here, and she was bitten by a vampire. She will most likely change tonight, in the morgue. We take that to our advantages. We be there when she changes. Since Ashely is full vampire, I still have it in my blood, so I can train her.

To calm her thirst, and her powers, and new life style. We will have to be there for your friend." I told her. "So she is going to be okay?" She asked me a little less concerned. "Yes. I promise." I told her. She brought me into a hug. "How did this happen jewls.." She began to cry again. "The police are on there way. Who are on there way, who are you?" He just noticed me I guess.

"I'm Andy, Kelleys boyfriend." Not 2 minutes later we hear sirens from down the road.
