You Are Not Alone ~ Andy Biersack Love Story

I'll Be There For You

I rocked back and forth, my mother in my arms.

My dead, bloody mother.

My eyes were red and poofy from all the crying that I had done. The cops had already took my father down, and put him in a body bag, and then he was sent off to the morgue. I didn't let go of my mother though. A female cop walked up behind me and put her hand on my back.

"Miss, we are going to have to take her," the woman spoke softly.

I instantly shook my head, but then two male cops grabbed me and let the other cops put my mother in a body bag. I screamed and fought against them. It was dusk. The sun was coming up, and then I saw a familiar face at the front door, which was wide open.

Andy.

He ran over to me and grabbed me and pulled me into a hug. I fought against his hug, screaming for release, but then I eventually gave in, and Andy held me close. My arms wrapped around him, and he rubbed my back and kissed my head for a long time, trying his hardest to make sure I was going to get through this. He held onto me and then pulled away. He put his hands on my face and wiped away my tears.

"Grace, you need to breathe, look at me," he said, noticing my eyes were looking away. He lifted my chin with his fingers and looked me dead in the eye, "it's going to be okay. You need to let me help you, okay?" He said and then I nodded. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and walked out. I saw my mother's body bag lifted up into the ambulance, and I looked away. I buried my face into Andy's chest and he drove us back home.

Andy checks on me, quite frequently. I sit on my bed, my knees pulled up to my chest, and I always seem to have a tear or two sliding down my pale face. My hair was fading, and I needed to dye it again, but I wanted to change the color to another pastel color. I knew what color.

Pastel blue.

My mother always yelled at me, she said if I was going to dye my hair, I should do it her favorite color, and it was pastel blue. Of all colors. I cried, but a smile was brought to my face at the thought of my mother.

It has been a day since she died, and I hurt terribly. I walked out of my bedroom, and down the stairs, to see Andy, Ashley, and CC, talking over a beer. I adjusted the sweatpants and loose, black tank top I wore, and sat down on Andy's lap. He had beckoned me, so I sat there.

I was losing a considerable amount of weight due to the depression coming back, and my mother's death wasn't helping.

"Grace, we are sorry to hear about your mom. If there is anything we can do, just let us know." CC said softly, and I nodded, but I looked at Andy who let me have a sip of his beer.

"Andy?" I said.

"Yes, babe." He replied back, sympathy in his voice.

"I am going out, I will be right back." I said and stood up.

"But-" Andy said trying to stop me, but I put my index finger on his lips.

"I will be right back." I said and then grabbed the car keys, and headed out. I came back about a half hour later, to see Andy still talking to the guys. I had a feeling they would be staying the night. It was already 7 at night, so they would probably stay. I walked upstairs, not saying anything, but I hung the keys up on the hook with the other keys. I headed to the bathroom and got to work. I bleached out my long hair, and then waited for about a half hour. Andy came to check on me, and I said I was fine, I just had to attend to girl things. He went away right after that. I laughed slightly, but I washed out my hair and then dried it. Holy, I was blonde. It was almost silver! I looked at the box of blue dye and sighed. "This is for you mom." I said and then opened up the box. I had to get two because of how much hair I had. It was a lot of dye, but I needed it. I diluted the darker blue with conditioner so it would actually turn out pastel. I put it all on, and made sure every millimeter of my hair was covered. Now the wait began. I sat in the bathroom for about 45 more minutes, and then washed out my hair, and dried it. I looked at myself in the mirror for awhile. It was really pretty. I quickly cleaned up the mess, and then walked down stairs. The guys looked at me, jaws dropped.

"Y-you changed your hair?" Andy asked. I couldn't read his emotion.

"Yeah, it was my mom's favorite color." I said, rubbing my arm.

"Well it looks fucking beautiful." Andy said, standing up an kissing me.

"EW GUYS! GET A ROOM!" Said the drunken Ashley.

I smiled as they talked, laughing happily at a cheesy joke. I couldn't smile. I had to tell Andy about my depression, sooner or later.
