Land Of The Lost

Lynx Pov:

I knew that the guys were up to something. I knew that Ash wanted me to move in with Jinxx, but I had no intention of moving in with him. I sighed and opened the door to my ‘house’ and looked over the books that were on the shelf, making sure that no one had been through them. Almost as soon as I sat down on the couch Kotta walked it without knocking.

“Lynnette. Do you have any idea how worried I was that you just vanished!?” She yelled at me as she stormed over to the couch and glared down at me. This was my best friend, and I constantly wondered how we ever became friends. We were so different, I was a bit more laid back than she was and admittedly I was a bit more reckless. “Are you going to say something or just sit there?”

“Kotta, you do realize that I nearly got myself killed multiple times in the span of two weeks yes?”

“That’s not the point and you know it!” It was almost impossible to have a conversation with her if she was like this. I sighed and stood up.

“I had a tower of stone collapse on me, had multiple bones broken, tortured by my ‘father’s’ shadow demons, had a sword thrown through my side and suffered from heat sickness. You want to talk about how you were worried?Y ou try feeling like you’ll never see the person you love again!”

“Wait, what? Tell me everything; you’re not one to even remotely like anyone.” Yeah, I just trapped myself in here with her by saying one thing. I sighed again and moved away from her.

“I don’t know where to start with any of this. How about you just forget I said anything?” The chances of Kotta forgetting anything I ever said was slim to none.

“No way! You’re going to tell me which one you’re talking about!”

“No way in hell.” I glared at her as she smirked. I knew exactly what her plan was, and I wanted no part of it. “Don’t even think about it Kotta.”

“What are you going to do? Run like always?” I backed up from her.

“I’m serious Kotta, don’t do it.” Kotta, being someone who was completely evil no matter what she said or did that mad someone believe otherwise, easily pinned me to the ground and went right for my ticklish spots, namely my sides. Between the insane laughing fits and the screaming of ‘stop’ I think the other people in the town could hear us. It got to the point where Ash and CC just walked into my place and just watched me attempt to ‘fight’ Kotta off.

“Uhh, Lynx do you need help?” I looked up at CC and Ash.

“Yes, get this demonic girl off of me.” I managed to capture both of Kotta’s hands, but wasn’t able to get her off of me. CC pulled Kotta off me while Ash helped me up. “Thanks.”

“So what possessed Kotta to ‘attack’ you?”

“She wouldn’t answer my questions so I tried to force them out of her…then you two put a stop to it.”

“Kotta, we had a lot of people saying that it sounded like someone was dying. Ash thought that it would be better to just come see what was going on.” Kotta and I looked up at CC.

“Wow, glad people actually tried to help. You know if she was trying to kill me I’d be dead before you even decided to check.”

“Kitten, stop being so dramatic. We’ll take Kotta with us so you can get some rest.” Ash pushed me over to the couch and all but dragged Kotta out of the house with him, leaving CC behind.

“Lynx, you sure you’re alright?”

“Yes, I’m tired as hell, and honestly I want to sleep. So please leave.” He laughed at me and left. As soon as he did, I latched the door and went into my room, laid down and fell asleep almost instantly.

Notes

So Kotta is officially a main character to the story. Feel free to imagine her however you want, though I did put a picture of how I see her up. Haha, poor Lynx is in such denial, it's almost too funny.
