Blurry Waters

"Jake... He's our. He's our brother." Conner spit out those words. The words I could barely believe because none of them seemed true, especially coming from my brother.
"Mom never told you. Couldn't." He re-phrased the last part. I had so many questions running through my head at that moment. But I held most of them in.
"Did you know?" Conner and Jake both give me this look that tell me yes, but with the day I've had, I'm not allowed to be mad. I turn my attention away from my brothers and look at my heroes, who are in my living room.
"I.. I'm Aubrey.." But when the attention gets turned to me my social anxiety kicks in and I start to breath heavily. Ashley smiles at me, as well as Andy. I had the people who saved my life, so many times, in my living room.. I walked upstairs and tried to breath. I heard feet softly touching the carpeted steps but I didn't make a movement on my bed.
"Hey, are you okay?" Jake was in my bedroom now. I nodded because everything had to be okay. I couldn't fail Conner, and now Jake. I walked downstairs, still calming down and took an empty seat between Ashley and CC. At the moment, my life was going particularly well, so why did I feel so empty? I knew as soon as I let the question enter my mind that the demons would make a remark. Because you're pathetic. I knew it would be something along those lines, I was never free, even in my own head.

Time Lapse-

"Good Morning LA! It's 5:20 am!" The chirpy lady I hear on the radio every morning says as I press snooze for the fourth time. I hear soft, sleepy, footsteps make their way to my room. Not long after, my door receives a soft knock, but CC doesn't wait long before he pushes through the door.

"Wake up, Sunshine." His voice, rain dropping on a rooftop. CC and all the other guys stayed the night last night, I guess I found a little comfort in that. I let out a groan of distaste that CC obviously didn't like.

"Please."

He asked me nicely. But this time, he put his hands on my shoulder in a more than friendly way. But I shook it off. He was too old and he was my brothers best friend. I let out one more groan before I let out more words.

"Please let me stay home today.." I pleaded with him hoping I wouldn't have to explain yesterday's situation. CC sighed, but looked like he was going to buckle.

"Ask Conner or Jake." I smiled because I knew that Conner's answer would most likely be yes. I ran down stairs with my feet slapping the stairs hard, not particularly caring that anyone was sleeping. When I reached the bottom, Conner and Jake were both at the island drinking a cup of coffee sleepily. I broke out his nickname before I asked, knowing it would forsure work, I couldn't deal with today.

"Bubby.. Can I pleassse stay home today?" Conner took about two seconds to think before he said yes. I smiled, but then kissed his cheek and ran upstairs like a little kid. I felt happy, or looked happy to him. I'm pretty sure he knew what I went through, but I knew for a 100% fact that he didn't know how bad It was. I grabbed my phone and texted Austin. Austin has been my best friend since birth. My mom and his mom were best friends, and so were our grand parents, so it was meant to be. Honestly, yes I have feelings for Austin, but I'd never ruin our friendship. I stopped my mind's adventure and texted him.

Me : Austin ! Don't go to school today !
Him : I'm all for it ! I don't need the fucking jocks. What are we going to do?
Me : You're not going to believe me when I tell you this, but Jake Pitts is my brother, and I currently have every member of Black Veil Brides in my house atm.
Him : Are you fucking with me?
Me : So my house it is?
Him : I'll be there in 25 minutes with cigarettes and food.
Me : Okay.
Him : If you're lying, you owe me 20 dollars.
Me : If I'm NOT lying, YOU owe ME 20 dollars. Bring your money (;

Time lapse (25 minutes)-

"Dude, who the fucks here?"

"Ashley, chill the fuck out man. Hahahaha. It's Austin. HES MY BEST FRIEND BEFORE YOU SAY A WORD." As I walked to go get Austin, Ash laughed his ass off. When I opened the door, Austin's face dropped.
