Days Are Numbered
1.
It was 5am as the orange sun was beginning to rise, Leia and her mother made the short journey to the airport. Silence filled the car and the back seat was piled high with suitcases and bags, it was only 5 weeks, but she needed to be ready for every possible occasion. The vicious rain attacked the car and Leia scolded herself for not wrapping up warmer. A star wars top and baggy black sweat pants would be warm enough for the flight, but they were no match for the Scottish weather. With a switch of a button Falling In Reverse - The Drug In Me Is You album softly rang through the speakers, interrupting the peaceful silence. A large white van that looked as if it were used to hold a lot of equipment blocked the view of the airport and lead a line of cars to the main entrance of the airport, snaking slowly through the over run car park.
After saying a tearful goodbye to her mother, Leia slumped her way through the crowded terminal dragging her suitcases behind her with ease. Her mind was focused on the music that was vibrating through her ears, Kellin Quinn and his flawless vocals taking control of her senses. She was so lost in her thoughts that she never noticed the human pillar blocking her path and suddenly she was knocked off her feet and sent flying through the air.
''Shit, i'm so sorry. Are you ok?'' A deep voice asked in concern his voice laced in an unfamiliar accent, he extended his hand as an offer of help. Leia's chocolaty eyes connected with the eyes of her saviour and she was stunned by the piercing blue quality, as she stared in shock her arm slowly extended and connected with the stranger as a soft blush crept over her pale cheeks.
''Thank you, I should have been watching where I was going'' Leia started to collect her bags, the kind stranger helping as best he could. With a final gaze she absorbed his appearance: The thick dark eyeliner that surrounded those hypnotizing eyes, the long shaggy black mane of hair that framed his structured face, his incredible height and the black leather clothing he adorned. After muttering a thank you she lowered her now red face and quickly scuttling away, heading for her flight without a single glance back.
If she had looked back she would have noticed that the stranger who had been a human road block was following her movements with a great interest as he made his way through the crowds in search of his friends. He vowed he would meet her again.
