Never Give In, Never Back Down

"Baby," I sighed pulling her close to me, "you could never end up like him."

"But...how do you know?" She looked down and I could tell she wasn't thinking about anything pleasant and, knowing how her mind worked I knew she was thinking she had become her father already.

"I know because, he is a monster," I paused until she looked up at me and started to stroke her hair lightly. "No one that has been put through that much pain and still dares to have a positive outlook on life and has a heart of gold like you could never become someone so heartless and cruel." I kissed her forehead and squeezed her quickly in a hug.

"Ok, I trust you but, if I ever start to be like him please do something about it...or I will." She muttered that last bit under her breath and my body tensed up immediately.

Turning her face up to look at mine I said, "I know how you think and I know you're still wondering if you're like him...please don't think about hurting yourself again."

"I won't." She whispered, her mouth pressed against my collar bone in a sweet kiss.

Two Weeks Later...

Tonight was the first concert with Ashley back. He told the fans on twitter that he hadn't been feeling well during the last show, they'd decided as a band not to release what had actually occurred especially considering how petty the incident really was. Black Veil Brides is having a meet and greet right after their concert and Andy wants me to sit with them and meet the fans since he's introducing me as his girlfriend on stage tonight, needless to say I'm a nervous wreck. Also, according to the guys, now that I was officially part of their family I needed a name (like The Prophet or The Deviant). I'd actually thought on the subject before and just neeeded the guys approval.

It's just before the show and we are all sitting around in the dressing room, everyone had fallen silent so I figured I would tell them now.

"hmm...hmm..." I coughed a little into my hand to get their attention, which occurred almost instantaneously. "I think I've found the perfect name but, I want unanimous approval or I won't use it..."


"Ok babe, hit us with your best shot." He winked and I nudged his shoulder. He feigned being hurt and we all laughed before they turned to me expectantly.

"The Wyvern."

"HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!!!! YES!!!!" CC cried out leaning forward and clapping his hands together, thoroughly impressed.

"I like it. It suits you Ash." Jinxx grinned at me from across the room.

"I love it baby girl!" Andy whispered excitedly in my ear, his hot breath sending shivers down my spine as he placed his hand against the small of my back rubbing circles on my spine.

"That's really cool Ash! Now I wish I'd come up with it!" Ashley chuckled.

"Um...what's a Wyvern?" Jake asked thoroughly confused.

"A half dragon, half bird creature of mythology." Jinxx answered without skipping a beat.

"Then, FUCK YEAH!!! That sounds cool as shit!!!" We were all laughing when Jon walked in telling us it was time to go on stage.

"Good luck guys! I'll see you on stage!" I winked and hugged my boys one by one as they walked out the door. Andy was the last one out and I kissed him quickly and slapped his ass as he passed by. He turned and gave me a wink before walking up to the stage. A few minutes later I decided to go watch the show until it was time for me to go on. I kept peeking around the curtains of the stage watching the audience, they were a lot more hyped up then they had been the last few shows but, there was this one girl who had progressively shoved herself to the front, pressing herself against the gate. She had dark brown or black hair that came down past her shoulders and was wearing a corset and skinny jeans with a black leather jacket and Purdy shades. I had the exact same pair back in the dressing room. She seemed really cool and I needed more friends than the guys and their girlfriends, so I was hoping she would come to the meet and greet.

It was almost the end of the show and I started to feel birds leaping and soaring in my stomach. I entertained the idea that there were people stage diving in my stomach for a few moments before I took a deep breath, the final notes of lost it all playing.

"OK MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!!! HOW ARE WE DOING TONIGHT?!" Andy waited for the screaming to die down before continuing. "WE WANT TO OFFICIALLY INTRODUCE SOMEONE VERY IMPORTANT TO US. YOU'VE SEEN HER BEFORE, SHE'S SUNG WITH US, SHE'S FILLED IN ON BASS WHEN ASHLEY WAS SICK, AND SHE'S MY GIRLFRIEND!! SO WELCOME THE WYVERN, ASHLEY CROSS TO THE STAGE!!!"

I heard a roar of applause as I floated into the bright lights of the stage and over to my rockstar boyfriend.

He moved the microphone away from his lips and whispered "I love you" softly against my ear before taking my lips as his own. A deafening sea of applause rung out across the venue and we launched into my song.

The concert had just ended and we all charged off stage, excited to meet the fans. Moments after stepping into the cool shadow that was backstage I took a towel, quickly wiping away the sweat from my chest and face before going up behind Ash kissing her neck softly.

"You did fantastic babe! They loved you!" She turned in my arms and kissed me. It was a kiss that let me know how she was feeling; anxious, ecstatic, terrified, and proud. "There is no need to be anxious baby girl, the fans already love you and you'll be sitting with me the whole time anyway." I grinned kissing the top of her head quickly as we were pulled outside by the rest of the band.

I took her hand in mine, lacing our fingers together and squeezing gently as we approached the meet and greet booth. We all took our seats Jake was farthest to the left then Jinxx, Ashley and I followed after that with Ash and CC sitting to my right. I stroked Ash's hand lovingly as the first fan stepped up asking for all of our autographs, including Ash's. When I turned to make sure she was ok with autographs I saw her practically beaming in delight.

"Sure!" Ash stood slightly, "I saw you in the audience! That was fierce the way you pushed those people out of your way to get to the front! Plus I fucking love your style! What's your name anyway?"

"Mikala, the baddest bitch in town!" Ash chuckled and hi-fived the girl.

"Well, Mikala, it just so happens that I need other friends besides these little shits, no offense, you guys know I love you! So I'm going to give you my number!"

After Mikala had left Ash seemed a lot more chipper. I, however, got progressively more exasperated as guys insisted on hitting on Ash. She got a butt load of guys numbers, a few asked her to sign condoms, a few even tried to kiss her (granted they were young teenage boys).

"GODDAMNIT ANDY!!!! THAT WAS AWESOME!!!" I sighed heavily falling back onto the bed. He grunted a yeah and I sat up asking what was wrong.

"I just don't like guys hitting on you that's all babe, I promise." He sat down on the bed and I shifted so he was sitting between my legs.

"Look babe, I don't like girls hitting on you either. It's something we both have to get used to...I can promise you something though..." I trailed off kissing his bare shoulders softly before using my index finger and thumb to turn his face gracefully toward mine.


"What's that babe?"

"...I'm all yours. You're the only one that I love and the only one who gets to look at me and touch me the way you do. Can you be satisfied with that and not let you're adoring fans get you down because they think I'm hot?" I seriously don't understand why but, I seemed to be something of a looker to their male fan base.

Andy and I were cuddling in bed early that morning when my phone suddenly went off. <<strong>I DON'T OWE YOU ANYTHING, I'LL NEVER LET YOU STEAL MY COFFIN!> I lunged over Andy's chest yanking my phone off the nightstand before flopping back into the sheets and unlocking my screen.

*Hey, it's Mikala from the concert! It was wicked meeting you and the guys!*

I quickly saved her number into my contacts and sent her a message back saying it was fantastic meeting her as well! I also told her Andy said hello.

"Who is it babe? One of those guys or one of our guys?"

"Neither babe, don't worry! It's that girl Mikala, remember her?"

"OH, YEAH!!!! The first girl at the meet and greet right? She seemed pretty awesome! Tell her I say hello."

"I already did!" I giggled sticking my tongue out.

Mikala:
*So....? What's up? I say hi back!*

"Hey babe?" I glance over at Andy a devious smile playing across my lips.

"Yes baby girl?" He turned, a nervous smile adoring his lips.

"You know...every girl in the BVB army has a crush on at least one of you....I want to know who Mikala likes, want me to tell you?"

"SUREEEEE BABE." Andy was still chortling with laughter as I typed my reply.

'nothin much, laying in bed with Biersack about to go to bed. Did you have a good time tonight? Also since I fully intend on being like BEST friends with you....you should totally tell me which one of the guys you like ;) ....(UNLESS it's my boyfriend...then lie) ~BVBbabe
