The Wretched Became Divine

The line moved fairly swiftly into the dark venue.I handed my ticket over,too caught up in everything around me to really notice the bouncer.The scents and sights and sounds of the venue filled me,I took a deep breath and sighed,feeling lighter than I had in a while.I belonged in a place like this.With kids just like me.Mimi held tight to my hand as we ran towards the stage,managing to wriggle our way to the front.

Just as we reached the stage the lights dimmed and the crowd let out a cheer.Mimi flashed me a quick smile and eagerly turned her attention to the stage as the first band came on.They were local,not half bad either and everyone seemed to enjoy them.Soon after was another local band,decent yes,but by now the crowd was riled and ready to see Black Veil Brides.

An expectant hush fell over the crowd,one that was quickly banished by the cheering of the crowd.Black Veil Brides strolled onto the stage.Each of them were damn sexy and had musical talent to match.Thanks to Mimi showing me pictures of them I could match names to faces.My eyes fell on the drummer.Tall,lanky,grinning insanly Christian Coma.Being a drummer myself,Drummers from other bands were usually my favorite band members,plus there was just something about his smile.

I screamed along with the rest of the crowd as Andy took the mic with a grin.

The concert passed in a blur of music and flashing lights.Even as the final song was ending Mimi was dragging me along to the merch tables.I had fun for a few moments talking with the merch guys before paying for my new shirt and following Mimi outside. A small group of darker souls were relaxing out front.Divination. Caden flashed me a grin and beckoned us over.Mimi skipped over, leaving me to follow at a more sedate pace. Caden offered a cigarette but I shook my head,Mimi took one from the pack and lit it.I wrinkled my nose but said nothing."So are you two hanging around for a while?" A girl with scarlet hair asked,She was cosied up to the boy Caden had introduced as his brother,Cole. Mini nodded,bouncing on her feet,"The band usually hangs around for a while so we thought we might try to meet them." Cole nodded and we passed time with the interesting group.

I eventually grew bored of their antics and gave a slight tug on Mimi's sleeve,Letting her know I was wandering off.I tucked my hands in my pockets and walked down the street for a bit, stopping at a gas station to grab a monster before walking back,sipping it. I became alittle confused and took a wrong turn into an alley.Cursing and grumbling under my breath I turned around to leave and find my way back to the street when I smacked into someone.I let out a startled yelp,my eyes skimming up the warpaint covered chest,past the grin and finally stopping on the dark chocolately brown eyes of none other than Christian Coma.
