Haunted...

Hands as cold as Ice.....

ANDYS POV

I woke up, and smiled at my dream. I had a dream about Alice, the girl I met the night before at the graveyard. She seemed, different to everyone else. wasnt sure wheather it was a good different or a bad different, but I was sure that she was a good different. I got out of bed, and slipped into a pair of skinny jeans, and a black top, and ran downstairs. "You off out love?" My mom asked, placing a bowl of ceral on the table for me. "Yeah, off to met a friend."
"Ok darling, make sure you eat that before you leave."
"Mom I'm not five anymore."
"I don't care how old you are I still need to look after my boy." She said, smiing, and I eat my breakfast at lightning speed, and went outside. I shuddered as a cold breeze whooshed past me. I got into my car, and drove to the graveyard, and got out of the car. I pulled my leather jacket shut, and walked into the graveyard. I suddenly realised, that I didn't know where we were going to meet. I folded my arms to keep the warmth close to me, and walked. I walked and walked until I came to a Willow tree. I saw some gavestones underneath the tree, and I sat down underneath it, looking over the graveyard. "Was wondering where you were going to turn up."A voice said, above me, making me jump. Suddenly Alice slipped down from a thick branch of the tree, and sat beside me, a massive grin across her face. "Well I didn't know where to find you, so I just sat anywhere. What were you doing in the tree?" I said, grinning back. "I spend all my time in that tree. My family are here to so it means something to me."
"Really? These graves are memers of your family?"
"Yeah. It makes me feel closer to them when I'm in this tree."
"Oh. Thats cool." I said, smiling at her. We sat there for hours, talking about everything and anything. There was a sudden rush of wind zoom past us, and I shivered, grabbing my arms. I looked at Alice. She did nothing. She didn't shudder or anything. It seemed like she didn' feel it. "Can you not feel that?" I asked shudering again at the breeze whooshing past us. "Feel what?"
"The wind?"
"Oh. No it dosent reall affect me."
"How can it not?"
"It just doesnt."
"Your lucky, I wish it didn't affect me."
"Well somtimes its a curse more than a blessing." I laughed and pulled my jacket shut again as the wind blew it open again. As the wind blew, a piece of paper flew out of my pocket, and landed on Alice's hand. I reached for it, and so did she. Our hands met. I suddered. They were freezing. I had never felt hands this cold in my life. They were unaturally cold. They almost seemed......like hands a dead person would have. She pulled away shaprish, and curled up, resting her chin on her knees. "Your hands.....There so.....cold." I said, reaching for them again. She pulled them away, and looked down at the floor. "They always are. It's just the way I am." She said, not looking me in the eye. "I think you should go to the doctors or something for them. There way to cold." I said, looking at her. "No. There fine."
"There not Alice. I think you need to go to the shops and get a hand warmer or something."
"No. I'm fine, there fine. I don't need anything." She said, still not looking up. "I'll come with you, all you need is a-"
"Andy! I don't need anything!" she snapped, looking up at me. "Ok OK, i'm only trying to help. But they are abnormally cold." I said, crossing my legs. "There fine Andy. Thank you but there fine." She said, not looking at me. I could tell that she seemed uncomfortable about them, and maybe the reason for them being so cold. I tried to grab them again, but she was well ahead of me, and stood up. "Andy I have to go." She said, getting up, and running off. "Hey Wait. Alice I'm sorry." I said, running after her. She turned a corner, and I followed her, knowing there was a dead end at the other end. I turned the corner, and saw no one. I was staning there in a dead end. Where had Alice gone? It was impossible to jump the gate, it was way to high, and even if she did there was no way she could of climbed it that quickly. "Alice?" I called. No reply. I looked around. There was no one but me in the graveyard.I sighed, and left the graveyard. looking around to see if I could see Alice. She was no where to be seen. I drove back to my moms house, and sat down to watch TV, my head full of confused and unanswered quesions...
