Fight Against All Odds

Chapter 23

I awoke in darkness. My brain cloudy from some sort of drug, probably the one that put me to sleep. I sighed softly as my mind slowly focused back in on the world.

I was laying on a cool, metal surface. The realization of where I was brought my fears back. No...this couldn't be happening.

I had been captured by The Gray.

My wrists were locked in metal cuffs to the surface so I couldn't move my arms. It was the same for my legs. I could barely move.

Fear of what would happen to me burned in my heart. But questions also fought their way to my brain.

Did the mission succeed? Did anyone die? Where was I?

My mind seemed to be refusing the truth. I was in shock most likely. My breathing sped up but no matter how much I tried to calm it I could feel panic begin to form.

The reality I was going to die a slow, torturous death, slowly creeped into my mind. I didn't cry, but a horrifying feeling spread through my body. What torture would they make my body overcome?

My panic took off when a door opened. I heard footsteps. I kicked and screamed, knowing my horrible fate was about to begin.

Instead of going insane I pictured my friend's faces one at a time. Amy and Ashley holding hands, Dahvie telling me I was going to be ok, and many other people I loved flashed through my mind.

I felt someone put cloth over my eyes. My head was lifted and the fabric was tied at the back of my head, blindfolding me.

I imagined my parents, telling me they loved me and they would always love me.

Next I was gagged, and not able to scream anymore. I struggled against the metal cuffs holding me to the cold surface but it was no use. I heard someone putting on gloves, the kind surgeons wore.

"A savior, will be there," I hummed. "When you are feeling alone, oh," I hummed against the gag.

A man's hand rested on my shoulder.

A needle slid into my arm.

I screamed into the gag.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I awoke from the nightmare after what seemed like an eternity.
"It didn't work," someone sighed. I knew that voice. I struggled against the metal I was attached to but I couldn't move. I couldn't see anything. I screamed against the gag and choked.
I heard a groan from beside me. I turned my face towards the sound, hoping to see at least a shadow through the fabric, but there was nothing.
Hands lifted up my head and removed my blindfold, and I stared into the face of evil.
"Hello Grace. Remember me," Evil Smiled.
I screamed and cursed into my gag.
"I'll remove that if you promise not to start screaming," Dr. Good sighed.
I stared at him in anger. My eyes trying to stab him like a knife.
My head was again lifted and the gag was removed.
"YOU EVIL CHILD OF SATAN!!!!" I screamed at him.
"Look who is talking," he replied, smirking.
"FUCK YOU!" I screamed again.
"Watch you mouth or I can make your worst nightmares come to life," he smiled.
I shut up.
"We'll let's just say your little mission wasn't entirely unsuccessful. You children were able to take out quite a few of us. However, the mission was a complete failure," he explained.
I death stared him.
"Now don't look at me like that. Most all of you survived. Although, some did die...want to hear some names?" He laughed.
I continued to kill him slowly in my mind.
"There was one named Jayy..." He grinned.
"Noooo!" I cried out.
"And his little boyfriend Dahvie..."
"NO PLEASE NO!!!" I screamed.
"I believe a certain person named Vic was also shot down," he laughed evily.
"STOP IT!!!" I cried.
"Grace," a person said weakly from the bed next to me.
I looked to the bed beside me and screamed.
"Andy?" I cried.
"It's okay Grace I'm here," Andy said, protectively.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH HIM!!!" I screamed at Dr. Good.
"He's a little drugged still from what we knocked you out with but don't worry nothing has happened."
I turned back to Andy.
"Grace," Andy said softly as a tear fell down his face.
"Well Grace, it is time to do what I came to do here in the first place," Dr. Good sighed. He walked to a counter and opened a drawer, pulling out a syringe. He filled it with a dark red liquid.
"No," I cried.
He walked to Andy. Andy struggled against the metal that held him to the bed. He screamed and I screamed along with him.
"NO PLEASE!!!" I screamed at Dr. Good.
And he plunged the needle into Andy's arm.
Andy cried out, then relaxed. His eyes focused on mine.
"Grace I lo...." He began but the words were lost.
I stared into his eyes as the most beautiful blue I had ever seen faded to Gray.
My cries echoed through the room.
"ANDY COME BACK!!!" I screamed.
His gray eyes stared blankly into nothing.
I am crying. i cant believe andy almost died. I often get fanfiction confused with real life, and since andy was a real person rather than just a character, it was like he really died to me. that was a sick joke >:(
