I'm sorry.. I'm Not Leaving Without Him..
Kathryn's POV
We were lined up waiting for the prospective parent. I was holding Lukas's hand as we stood there. I looked down and smiled at him. He looked back up at me with those beautiful crystal blue eyes hat looked like Andy Biersack's from our favorite band Black Veil Brides and smiled too. We looked over and heard footsteps approach. Then in walked in a man we thought we'd never see. We gasped as we saw the one and only Ashley Purdy appear. He must have heard us gasp because he looked over in our direction. He smiled when he aw us. He walked over and looked me right in the eyes. "Hi, I'm Ashley Purdy." He said. "I know.. I'm Kathryn." I managed, still shocked that my idol was standing in front of me. "Well Kathryn, would you like to come home with me?" He asked. "I'd love to.." I then looked down to Lukas who looked sad. "I'd love to.. But.." I couldn't get the rest out. "But what sweetie?" He asked. "I'm sorry.. I'm not leaving without him." I said. "Without who hun?" Ashley asked politely. "Lukas." I said. "Who's Lukas?" "Me." Lukas said from beside me. "Well Lukas, would you like to come home with me?" He asked. "Yes Ash!! I'd love to!" I picked him up and kissed his head. "Well then. While you guys go get your things I'll fill out the paperwork." He said. "Ok!" Lukas squealed. I ran up the stairs with Lukas still in my arms. I got to our room and set him down. (The lady who owns the orphanage allowed us to share a room due to how close we were. She was the only nice lady here.) I grabbed our backpacks and started stuffing our things inside. I began with our clothes and then let Luke pack his own toys. I began throwing my laptop, Ipod, and journals into a second bag along with the chargers and art supplies I owned... Along with my razors when Lukas wasn't looking. When we were done we walked downstairs to a waiting Ashley. "Ready to go?" He asked us. "Yup." I said taking hold of Lukas's hand. We went out to his big black SUV and we got in. He started the car and began driving to our new home. "So how old are you guys?" He asked. "I'm 16." I said. "How old are you Lukas?" "I'm 4." He said proudly. God he was such a sweetheart. I remember when he came to the orphanage as a baby.
