Highschool story (no longer being writen)

Kelsey's POV
After my run I showered and threw on a pair of sweats and a pull over and went to go sit outside. I didn't want what Kristi said to ruin everything. I have come so far. I got better, I'm eating I'm a healthy weight again. Yesterday before she happened I looked in the mirror and liked what I saw. I don't want to go back to that girl. The one who didn't eat and if she did raced to the bathroom to get rid of it all. I also didn't want to let Jason and Emily down. They found out and tried to help me. They covered for me when I needed them to and they truly did help me get better. I don't want to screw that up now. I had my music blasting in my ears so I couldn't hear anything but I looked up and saw Andy standing next to me and I jumped. I ripped the ear buds out of my ear and shut the music off.
"You scared the hell out of me"
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to"
"It's fine."
"Can I sit?"
"Yeah. Sure" I moved over to there was room for him to sit and he took the open seat next to me. He looked at me like he was trying to think of something to say but couldn't find the words.
"What are you doing here Andy"
He was silent for a second then spoke.
"I wanted to make sure you were okay. After what happened with Kristi"
"I'm fine. why wouldn't I be"
"Because Kristi is a bitch. And I know that some of the shit that she says can get to people"
"Well not me. Like you said she's a bitch, that's all she is."
"Kelsey-"
"Andy I'm fine okay" I snapped
he looked at me with a look of both shock and hurt.
"I'm sorry."
"No, no don't be sorry. I just don't really want to talk about her."
"Okay"
"I'm sorry I snapped at you."
"It's fine."
we sat in silence for what felt like longer than it actually was. "I should go now. But I'll see you tomorrow yeah?" He asked standing up
"Yeah. See you tomorrow"
"Goodnight Kelsey"
"Goodnight Andy"
He smiled then turned around and walked to his house looking at me once more before walking through the door. I don't know what it was about Andy but whenever he talked to me or looked at me I felt something. Safe, like he wasn't judging me. Which after everything that has been going on in my life the last two years is a nice feeling to have.
I smiled to myself and stood up.
When I walked into the house my mom called my name from the kitchen. When I walked in there I saw her making dinner.
"Kelsey can you set the table please"
"Sure mom"
I grabbed the plates and stuff and set it all around the table then ran upstairs to plug my phone in. When I walked out of my room I ran into Jason. Like literally ran into him.
"Oh shit sorry Jason"
"Ha it's okay."
"Thanks for today."
"Don't worry about it. Are you okay"
"I'm fine"
"Kelsey. I heard what she said to you today. Are you okay" I knew what he was asking.
"Jason. I'm fine"
"Are you sure"
"Yes. I'm better now"
"Okay."
"I'm going to go get Emily. It's time for dinner"
"Okay"
I walked around him and knocked on Emily's door.
"Yeah" I heard her yell
I walked in and saw her laying on her bed.
"Hey. it's time for dinner"
"Okay" she seemed really quiet and off.
"Is everything okay"
"Yeah. everything's fine"
"Emily, I know when you're lying"
"it's just. I'm worried about you"
"What? why?"
"Because Kelsey. you're better now. you're healthy and you seem happy. And that stupid bitch today said all that shit and just. You really scared me last time I thought I was going to lose you. And you're one of my best friends and my sister. I don't want you to start getting bad again."
He voice started cracking and I walked over to her bed and sat down next to her.
"Emily. Hey look at me okay. I'm fine. What Kristi said was a low blow but I wont let her ruin my recovery okay. I wont let her do that to me. And I wont do that to you and Jason again. I'm sorry I scared you. I didn't want to hurt you."
"Promise you wont do it again"
"I'll try my best. Okay"
She nodded and hugged me and I hugged back.
"I love you Emily"
"I love you too Kelsey"
"Now lets go eat"
"Okay"
We pulled away from each other and I followed Emily down the stairs.
After dinner I helped Aaron clean up and then went up stairs and got into bed. Yeah it was only like 8:30 but I had nothing else to do and I liked sleeping. So that's what I did
