Highschool story (no longer being writen)

Kelsey's POV
The next morning when I woke up my head hurt and I wasn't sure where I was until I looked over and saw Tay laying on the floor then it all came back to me. I tried sitting up but was stopped by someone's arms around my waist. I looked over to see it was Andy. I was trying to move without waking him up but I failed. He woke up and looked around the room than down at where his arms were and pulled them away.
"Sorry"
"It's okay"
"How long have you been up"
"not long"
We both looked around at everyone and saw that they were starting to wake up. Tay sat up and walked to the bathroom not saying a word and came back with a bottle of advil. We all gladly took it.
After about a hour or two we were all getting ready to leave.
"Hey Kelsey, you need a ride home?" Adam asked
"If you don't mind"
"No. We're dropping Andy off anyway"
"Okay. thanks"
Me Mitch Adam and Andy all walked to Adam's car and he drove us home.
"Thanks again for the ride" I said getting out of the car.
They said goodbye and left and I looked at Andy who was standing next to me.
" So I should get inside. But I'll see you later" I said
"Yeah right. I'll see you later"
we both started walking our separate ways and just as I opened my door I got up the nerve to ask him something
"Hey Andy"
"Yeah?"
"Do you want to do something tonight. maybe go see a movie or something"
"Yeah. I would like that. What time?"
"how does 5 work"
"Perfect. I'll see you then"
"Great."
I walked inside and ran up to my room to shower. It was 3 now and I wanted to try and get something done before I go. When I got out of the shower I dried off and got dressed (outfit).
It was 4:30 by the time I was completely ready and I walked downstairs to see my mom making dinner and Aaron doing paper work.
"Hey mom. Can I borrow the car tonight"
"For what"
"I'm going to a movie with a friend from school"
"Friend." she questioned
"Yes mom a friend" I said laughing
"Who are they"
"Mom"
"I want to know who this friend is"
"It's Andy. from next door"
"is this a date"
"No! I just thought it would be fun to hang out with him." I could feel myself blushing and I wasn't even sure why.
"Whatever you say. that isn't the look you would have just talking about a friend"
"Mom"
"I'm just saying"
"Can I take the car"
"Well I don't see why not. Just don't be out to late"
"I wont. thanks mom"
"Have fun on your date" she joked
"It's not a date" I called back as I walked up the stairs.
I knocked on Emily's door and waited.
"Come in"
I opened the door and saw her sitting on her bed. talking to someone on the phone "Mom I'll talk to you tomorrow"
"Okay, love you"
She hung up the phone and I sat down next to her on her bed.
"Where are you going looking all hot"
"I do not look hot"
"Yes you do. now where are you going"
"I'm going to go hang out with Andy"
"Andy?"
"He lives next door, I met him yesterday and we hung out last night at a girl from schools house"
"So that's where you were last night. how did it go"
"It was fun. They all seem great"
"And this Andy guy, is he cute"
I heard the doorbell ring.
"You tell me. he's here"
"alright"
We stood up and walked down the stairs a.nd I made sure I looked okay before walking to the door to see Emily had already answered and he was standing inside.
"Hey Andy this is my sister Emily. Emily this is Andy"
"We met" Emily said she looked at me and mouthed something to me.
'oh my god'
"I'll be right back Andy I just have to go get the keys and we can go"
"Okay."
I walked into the kitchen and grabbed the keys before saying goodbye to my mom and Aaron and walked back over to where Andy was.
"Ready to go"
"Yeah. it was nice meeting you Emily"
"you to. have fun"
She winked at me and I rolled my eyes before walking out of the house. Once we were in the car I turned to Andy.
"So what were you thinking" he asked
"We could go see dark knight. That is if you want"
"That sound great. I've been wanting to see it."

When we got to the theater I grabbed my wallet but before I could pay Andy was already handing me my ticket.
"Oh, well here" I said handing him the money
"Keep it. It's on me"
"Are you sure"
"Yes."
"Thanks"
We went and found a seat close to the back of the theater and sat down. We got there just in time because the previews were just ending.
After the movie which was freaking awesome me and Andy walked out of the building and saw it was dark now.
"Are you hungry" I asked
"Kind of"
"Do you want to go grab something."
"Yeah sure. there's a pizza place not to far from here"
"Okay. Lets go"
We walked to the car in silence and then started driving.
"So where are you from"
"Minnesota"
"What made you guys move here"
"My step dad got a job here"
"Do you miss Minnesota"
"Not really. My dad lives in Indiana so it's nice to be closer to him."
"Do you see him often"
"Not really usually because I could never get there but I talk to him a lot"
"What about you. you always live here?"
"Yeah."
It was silent for a second before he spoke again
"So about last night and the whole almost kiss thing, I'm sorry if it was weird for you"
"It's fine."
We pulled up to the restaurant and walked in.
I got to know Andy he got to know me and there wasn't any awkward silences it was great. When the check came Andy tried to take it but I stopped him.
"I got it. you payed for the movie the least I can do is pay for the food"
He tired to argue but I ignored it and went up to pay. We walked out to my car and drove home.
I parked the car in my drive way and got out.
"Thank you for tonight. I had fun" I told him
Me and Andy were standing outside my door.
"So did I"
"I should go. but I'll talk to you later"
He nodded and looked at me for a second and I noticed him getting closer. I leaned forward and just as my lips were about to meet mine we were stopped again. But this time by Jason opening the door. We jumped apart and I looked over at Jason.
"Oh shit. sorry to interrupt"
He shut the door again and I looked at Andy.
"Um so i'll see you later than" I said looking down
"Yeah, I'll see you later"
"Goodnight Kelsey"
"Goodnight Andy"
He turned around and walked back to his house. I \stood outside my door for a few minutes smiling like a weirdo then walked inside. I went inside and walked upstairs right away and changed. When I went to bed that night I was happy. And I slept better than I have in years
