The Unbreakable Broken

I watched as Rachael and Andy where doing the thing couples do.Rachael giggleing and the stupid small kisses the show had endded and everyone was split up into their useal groups. Andy and Rachael, Jennifer and Ashley, Clee with alex jc and brandon, jinxx with jake and Hannah, cc and camryn, Me and Bret.
Bret was stareing at the to close for comfort couple. "I told you if you wanted her you should have made a move." The comment earned me a glare from bret.
"If I made a move I would have hurt someone."He sighed and went back to watching the couple. I knew that he would have hurt someone more than anyone else. there was jennifer and Andy to think about. but jennifer was clearly ment for Ashley. Everyone could see it but them. Andy was ment for someone else I didnt know who yet but someone else.

Rachael was stareing up at the starry night sky. we where the only ones still out. all traces of smiles behind us. we understood each other. we didnt have to fake happiness together.
"You know stareing is not plolite." Rachael said breaking our silence. she never let her eyes travel from the sky.
"Sorry." I said looking away.
it was quiet again for a moment.before Rachael broke the sielence again."You know I know right?"
i held my breath. "Know what?"
"You cut." I looked at her. wondering how ahe figured it out. "You do a good job hideing them. but your eyes betray you. I know the look. The one that says Im not ok. No one else would understand. They see it as shell be ok. but you know they are wrong." I nodded. "but god forrbid you disapiont them just a little bit. so you say what they wanna hear. Im ok i promise. I wont do it again. swear. things that they like. even though your dyeing inside." her vioce was cracking at the end.
"You do it too dont you?" she was frozen. it was as if she didnt mean to say anything. but yet she did."I wont tell i promise."
"There it is again. always pleaseing everyone. its a habbit. just do it because its right. you dont mean it. i know it." she said on the verge of crying now.
"I used to think that my life was a mistake. always second place never first. even when i tried really hard. Nothing was good enough. Then lilly came. she made me realize no one else truely matters. it stayed like that for a while. then she hung her self from the shower rod after cutting to deep.It was sad. But i got over it. sure there where cuts everywhers but it was a small price to pay for freedom from gilt. then it became an addiction. i cut alot. then bret came around. i learned how to hide them properly. so whats your story?" I said just about to cry. but i needed to know how this hell was put on another being.
"It started back in fourth grade. I was always the outcast. I hated it. I tried to fit in. it never worked.It didnt help that i never told a sole.then my parents split and never looked back. I never got over it. a while later I got expelled for getting in a fight. i had to move in with my dad. let me tell you that kansas is way diffrent yhan new york. but i had friends now. that was until someone from my past came and ruined it all. thats when i started to cut. cut to deep got lockex up learned how to lie and hide." Her story seemed shallow and rushed. almost scripted. her eyes locked on the stars before i could say anything more.
there was a niose to the right of us. I figured it was ashley oe clee with there latest fuck buddy. one night stand. I looked over and what i saw amazed me.it was andy and some girl so drunk she probably forgot her own name.
Rachael hadnt moved her gaze from the stars. andy had stumbled on to the bus. I knew i had to make brets move for him now."you know bret loves you."
"its getting late i think you should go to bed." was she serious did she not see what her boyfriend just did?
"he would never hurt you. hes always there for you if you fall." I made one final jab.
her eyes had tears "Go to bed." she said with a force that i didnt know a girl could have. girl. that was right. she was younger than me. she had managed to get her self in this big ass mess. but she was still a girl.
"alright but know youll always have someone there if you need or want it." i walked aeound the bus and i heard the unmistakeable sound of a childs sob. i could only help if she let me.
