-Fast forward a month, Download Festival-

It's Sunday of June, 2011 to be exact. I was dressed in camouflage ripped skinny jeans, a semi-loose fitted 5FDP tank top, black combat boots and some usual jewelry and smokey eye makeup with my hair tied up into a messy bun. http://www.polyvore.com/lilith_about_to_play/set?id=109191398

Yesterday the guys had played an amazing show and they let me come watch my other favorites that were scheduled for today. I was walking with Callisto walking ahead on his batman leash while I also kept a hand wrapped around Jerbears' arm as he limped in his crutches. Lets just say him and the guys did a few stupid dares last night, sober, surprisingly enough. He fractured his ankle so now he's on crutches for the next short few weeks. He was a little scared though because he thought it was going to effect the American Capitalist tour but the paramedics reassured him that he'd be healed by then.

We had just finished watching Rob Zombie perform and I was waiting for Black Veil Brides to go up! But they weren't going to play for another hour so I decided to have a little play time with Callisto. "Hey Jerbear, I'm gonna go play with Callisto for a while, okay?" I told him taking out a decent sized ball from my holster bag seeing Callisto wag his tail excitedly. He looked at me hesitant for a second but then nodded.

"Okay, Lil, just don't go too far out, okay?" He asked worriedly and I smiled giving him a gentle hug. "Okay, Jerbear, I won't. Promise," I said and smiled once he held out his pinky to me. I intertwined my pinky with his just as someone walked up to us with the pink and black download dog mascot. Download dog waved excitedly at me before giving me a high-five and a hug causing me to giggle.

"Hey, we're glad you guys showed up today. All That Remains pulled out and since it's last minute, we really need someone to fill in for them. Do you think you could since you guys are already here?" the stranger pleaded with a clipboard in hand. Download dog stood next to me and wrapped an arm around my shoulder as the guys looked at each other.

"I sprained my ankle though, there's no way I'd be able to play," Jeremy said sympathetically causing the others including the man to frown. "Wait," Ivan spoke up looking towards me with wide eyes of realization.

"We know who can play for you, who's exactly a miniature Jeremy," he said growing a huge grin.

"Really? Who?" the man asked growing happy. "Yeah, who?" Jeremy asked confused. Ivan smiled and pointed at me causing my brows to furrow together.

"Is he pointing at me or you?" I asked Download Dog in disbelief. He pointed at me and held up his hands in defense.

"Are you crazy, Ivan? I can't play anywhere nearly as good as Jerbear. I'm not him!" I said in a panic.

"That's right, you're not him, lily pad, you're you. I've heard and seen you play before, you play just as good as your brother. I believe in you, we believe in you. Come on, little sister, please" Ivan pleaded with hopeful eyes.

"I-I don't know guys, what if I mess up?! What if the fans don't like me? I'm scared," I said swallowing back the nervous lump in my throat looking down as I felt my body tense up and my hands start to shake.

I saw Jasons' boots stand in front of mine and the feeling of strong hands rest on my shoulders, giving a light squeeze. "Lilith?"

I looked up to see him looking at me with hopeful eyes. "Lilith, listen to me. You are an incredibly talented, intelligent and beautiful young woman. You can handle anything life throws your way, no matter how much you think you may not be strong enough. You're my daughter now, in my heart you always have been since you were a little girl. I know you can do anything you set your mind to, you've always been able to. You won't mess up, okay? With the way you are at the drums. Look, if it makes you better, we'll start out easy and work our way up to the more intense songs so you get the feel and hang of it, okay? You can do it, I promise. Just have faith in yourself, okay, little lamb?" he encouraged me causing every muscle in my body to relax and slow my rapid heart rate back to normal.

I looked over at the other guys to see them holding smiles and nodding in agreement as well as the man. I even looked over to download dog who gave thumbs up and nodded too. I looked back to Jason and gave a small smile and nodded before muttering, "okay, I'll do it."

"Fantastic! Okay so you guys will be performing on main stage right after Escape the Fate, before The Devil Wears Prada. You still have plenty of time till then, so feel free to watch the other bands or wander around till then," the man with the clipboard said happily and also added, "staying with them, download?"

Download nodded and ruffled my hair before the man nodded and walked away.

"Oh! Download, since you're staying with us, do you mind going with Lilith and Callisto? They're gonna go play for a while and I want to make sure she's not alone or anyone tries to mess with her," Jeremy persuaded and without hesitation download nodded.

He bent down slightly and lightly spoke in my ear, "come on, there's a more open area near the main stage," he took a hold of my hand running with Callisto running by my side on his leash.

"Just be sure to meet us by the main stage at least an hour before we go on so we can be ready!" Ivan yelled after us causing me to turn my head and yell back an okay.

Once we reached the open area I unclipped Callistos' leash, folding it and tying it up, clipping it to my belt loop on my hip. I tossed the ball up catching it repeatedly watching amusingly at Callisto dancing around, barking and whining impatiently causing me to chuckle.

"Ready, Cal?" I asked getting ready to throw the ball. He barked and crouched on his front two paws. I threw the ball, not too close but not too far either, watching Callisto dart after it and sliding on the grass as he grabbed it in his mouth and sprinting back to me. He jumped up on me causing me to giggle and take the ball back.

I played fetch with Callisto for a decent amount of time, of course going back to the Second Stage to finally watch Black Veil Brides perform and then headed to Main Stage to watch Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed and The Pretty Reckless before going back to our spot for another hour or two. I honestly started to lose track of time.

I let download dog play a few rounds with him too before someone came and told him he had to go with them. He started to protest but I told him I'd be fine on my own. He sighed in defeat, giving me one last hug before leaving me with Callisto in the open field.

I sighed once Callisto came up sitting in front of me panting. I knelt down petting his head receiving sloppy wet kisses that caused me to giggle. "Want to play catch instead, Cal?" I asked him seeing his head tilt to the side and stand back up barking once.

"Okay, Cal, go long," I said pointing out into the distance chuckling as he sprinted out a good far distance. "Ready Cal?" I shouted out to him earning an anxious set of barks.

I thought about how I was going to throw the ball to the exact spot where he was. With all my energy, I threw the ball up in the air as hard as I can watching as it flew exactly where he was as he jumped up catching it in his mouth. He ran back to me dropping the ball in front of me before taking off back to his spot again.

We spent what seemed like only just a few short minutes doing that till he decided to make it more challenging by going slightly further out only hearing his barking faintly.

'You can do anything you set your mind to' Jasons' words echoed in my head after feeling like I couldn't make it.

"I can do this.." I muttered to myself closing my eyes and taking a deep breath. I opened my eyes again, focusing on Callisto. I winded my arm back and swung as hard as possible letting the ball fly up at an angle to him. He jumped up catching it in his teeth causing me to jump and cheer as he hopped around too. "Way to go, Cal!"

I took my phone out once I felt it going off in my back pocket and saw it was a text from Ivan.

Where are you?! We go on in 15 minutes! Get your little ass over here asap!

"Oh shit!" I exclaimed in realization just as Callisto ran back up to me. "Cal, come on, we gotta go!" I said unclipping his leash from my belt loop and clipping it back on his collar. He still held the ball in his mouth as I stood back up and turned to run back to main stage before nearly jumping out of my skin and letting out a small scream.

"Holy shit, you guys scared me, sorry," I apologized to the four men now standing in front of me.

"Sorry there, little one. You're not gonna have a heart attack now, are you?" Max Green asked jokingly with a hint of concern in his voice.

I laughed and shook my head with my hand on my chest over my heart, "no, I'm fine, sorry you just surprised me."

"Our apologies," Monte said giving a kind smile. Craig huffed causing my brows to furrow but I shook it off.

"That's a nice arm you got there, sweetcheeks. You good with it for other things?" Craig asked smirking and wiggling his eyebrows. I saw Max roll his eyes, "Really, Craig, was that necessary? Leave the poor girl be, you don't even know how old she is."

I saw Craig huff irritatingly again before speaking, "whatever."

He walked closer to me causing me to slowly take a step back. "So, sweetcheeks, you here by yourself, huh?" Craig asked as he stepped closer causing Callisto to growl and expose his teeth. Craig didn't seem so phased by it since he continued to walk towards me. "Uhm, no, I'm actually here with my brother and a few friends. Which I should really be getting back to because we have to play in a few minutes.." I said the last part quietly and looking towards the main stage thinking about running back.

"You have to play? Wait, who are you with and what stage?" Max asked intrigued. "Oh, um I'm actually not in the band myself, I'm filling in for my brother because the idiot hurt himself. I'll be drumming for Jeremy in Five Finger Death Punch on main stage" I said nodding. I saw Robert huff in entertainment before commenting, "good luck, he goes pretty hard on those drums and I'm not sure you'll be able to handle it."

"Way to be encouraging, dick," Monte said rolling his eyes. "Would it be cool if we go watch when you guys go on?" he asked and I nodded.

I noticed Craig look down at a still growling Cal with an evil grin reaching out his hand to pet him. "Aww what's the matter little guy?"

Callisto barked viciously at him and bit at him, not physically biting him though, causing him to retract his hand and step back laughing.

"You should really learn to control your dog," he said.

"Well, that's kind of funny because he never acts like this with anyone unless he senses they're kind of evil and a total dick. No offense," I said innocently smiling seeing Max and Monte chuckle under their breath.

"Look, I really gotta go now, I probably only have 5 more minutes. It was nice meeting you guys, well, most of you. Gotta go, bye!" I said before taking off with Callisto by my side looking back once I heard what sounded like Craig shout something and not paying attention to where I was going causing me to crash into someone hard and sending us to the ground with me on top.

I groaned leaning my head up, "Jesus, I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was go-"

"Oh my god, holy shit, I'm so so sorry, CC," I said to the warpaint covered gorgeous drummer that I have a massive crush on. He shook his head and chuckled lightly placing a hand on my waist causing my heart to flutter. "Don't worry, it's alright. Are you okay?" he asked smiling and I nodded.

I heard someone clear their throat causing me to look up at a smirking Ashley bringing me back to realization that I was still on cc. "oh, right," I said quickly getting up and holding my hand out for cc. He sat up gladly taking it and I pulled him up with ease. "Sorry, again," I said sheepishly.

"It's okay, that was quite enjoyable to watch such a beauty like you plow into cc," Ashley said with a still smirk plastered on his face. I noticed a light pink shade bloom on cc's cheeks under his warpaint.

"LILITH SPENCER HEYDE WHERE ON EARTH ARE YOU!? WE HAVE 2 MINUTES!" I heard Ivan yell.

"Shit! Gotta go! Sorry!" I apologized before running to the side of the main stage with Callisto.

"Jesus christ, Lily pad, where have you been?! You weren't here for sound check, are you sure you'll be able to play your brothers drums?" Ivan asked concerned.

"Yes, she can, Ivan. She has the exact same drum set at home, what do you think she continues to play on? You dumbass" Jeremy said.

"Lil, just remember, you can do this. You're incredible and adorable and the strongest girl I know. Just close your eyes, breathe and let the beating of the drums flow through you. Feel it in your heart and soul. I'll be right here on the side of the stage, watching and cheering you on, okay?" Jeremy said encouragingly.

I nodded and gave him a gentle hug, "okay, Jerbear."

"Five Finger Death Punch on in 15 seconds!" one of the staff said causing my heart to race.

"Go get 'em, baby sister," Jerbear said before turning me around facing the stage where I could also see the fans cheering and chanting the band.

I apologize for taking so long to update, things have been complicated and stressful and busy lately. :c
I finally get my internet at home on tuesday so I'll be able to start typing and updating from home again instead of waiting till sundays to do it.
