I woke up in Ashley's bunk. The events from last yesterday came to mind and I almost had a panic attack again. I was in it enough, though, to get out of the bunk and go back to where the fight had happened. Everything was cleaned up, and everyone was sitting on the couch or the floor.
"Amarie! Oh thank God! When you didn't wake up all day we were starting to worry!" Laura came over and hugged me, and I hugged her back, grateful that she was ok. I saw Ashley and tears came to my eyes. I ran over and hit him in the chest with my fists.
"Why didn't you listen to Matthew! You could have died! I had it under control, when he got me in that hold I had a plan to get him instead! He had a fucking gun, Ashley! You could have died." I whispered the last part and slowly slid to the floor. Ashley caught me and held me close. He shoved his face into my hair and I cried on his chest.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't going to leave you alone with that bastard." He murmured into my hair.
'Well youi should have," I said back. "I can take him. I'm a big girl." I released my hold on Ashley and went to give everyone else a hug, telling them all how stupid they were. I saved Matthew for last.
"Amarie, I'm sor-" I cut him off with a huge hug.
"Thank you. For trying." I felt him start to shake, and I hugged him even tighter. When we were done, I sat down next to Ashley. He put his arm around me and I laid my head on his chest. Just like old times, but...different. I took a deep breath. "What happened to Mark?" They all hesitated, then Laura spoke up.
"I-I-I didn't mean to" She broke down into sobs, and Andy held her close. I stood up and wrapped my arms around her. Andy and I both comforted her until she was calmed down.
"Our lives are free now, Laura. We don't have to worry about him stalking the shadows anymore. We are finally free.

One month later

"Amarie! Truth or dare?" I sighed, knowing since it was CC I should probably go with truth.
"Truth." He smirked.
"When was the last time you and Ash had sex?" I felt my face go red.
"I plead the fifth," I said, and took off my shirt. We were playing truth or dare Purdy style (let me tell you, I love the man, but I can't stand his truth or dare version) and I had been the first one called on. Of course. I turned to Andy.
"Truth or dare?"
"Dare." I thought about it, then smiled.
"I dare you to kiss on of the guys and then give them a love bite."
Andy did so (to Jinxx ha!) and then turned to Ashley.
"Truth or dare?"
"Truth."
"When was the last time you guys had sex?" I felt my face go red again. God, they aren't going to let it go until they get an answer, are they? Ashley smirked.
"Us to know and you guys to find out." he took off his leather jacket, then turned to Laura.
"Truth or dare?" My phone went off.
"Truth."
"Do you love your job as an author?" Huh. I wanted to ask the same thing.
"Of course. Jake, truth or dare?"
"Dare."
"I dare you to stand on your hands without using the wall." He tried, and fell over about five times, but finally got it. When he sat back down, he turned to me.
"Truth or Dare?"
"Dare."
"Makeout with Laura." I groaned. The guys still didn't believe Laura and I were bi. I went over to Laura and kissed her deeply. I think I heard someone take a picture, but I ignored it. When we were done, my phone went off.
"Guys, I gotta take this. They nodded, and the game went on without me.I walked to the hallway (Laura and I were living with the guys) and answered the phone.
"Hello?"
"Amarie Purdy?" I smiled at the sound of the name. Sure, its been awhile, but I still love to hear it.
"This is she."
"I have some great news for you. You came in for a test, and we have the results." My heart started to pound.
"What are the results?"
"I'm very happy to tell you, you are indeed pregnant." I felt my eyes go wide. The doctor then told me something I hadn't expected. I thanked the doctor and hung up the phone in a daze. When I walked out to the living room, the guys and Laura turned to look at me.
"Amarie? What was that about?" I looked at Laura.
"I...I'm pregnant." They all looked at me wide eyed and then Ashley came over and put a hand on my stomach.
"No way." I nodded.
"Yup. That's not all." Ashley looked at me, waiting for me to go on.
"What?" I took a deep breath.
"Twins."
