Roommate Situation
Surprise Party
When I got back to the apartment with Austin there seemed to be a party in full swing. “You have got to be kidding me.” I mumbled and threw down my purse.
“You didn’t tell me there was going to be a party!” Austin yelled over the overly loud rock music.
“That’s because I didn’t know.” I answered.
“Natalie!” Andy yelled out and came up to me us. “Welcome to the tour! Who’s this?” Andy asked looking at Austin.
“This is my friend Austin.” I answered. “Why wasn’t I told about the party?” I asked feeling annoyed.
“It’s a surprise party for you.” Andy answered as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
“This isn’t how a surprise party is supposed to be.” Austin was chuckling behind me. Totally not helping my argument. I felt the need to elbow him but I didn't.
“It was not known to you and it’s a party so therefore it’s a surprise party.” Andy pointed out.
“Whatever.” I answered and pushed past him, leading Austin to my room.
“He likes you and I think you like him.” Austin said picking up the cat from my bed. Apparently the guys thought it would be an excellent idea to leave the cat in my room.
“No I don’t.” I answered stubbornly. “He’s annoying and pisses me off.”
“You’re not pissed off you’re sexually frustrated. You should learn to tell the difference.”
“He’s throwing a party in our apartment without consulting me, I’m pissed.” I answered going to my closet. “Payback’s a bitch.”

When Andy saw me next his jaw just about dropped. I was wearing a corset top and a pair of leather shorts, and some high heels.
“Thanks for the drink.” I said grabbing the cup from his hand.
“I thought you were going to stay in your room with the guy.” Andy said nodding to Austin, who had spotted someone he knew and was talking with them.
“It would be a shame to be shut in when there’s a perfectly good party going on.” I took a sip from the cup and grimaced. It was coke and some kind of whiskey. I hated whiskey the first time I did a shot of it, it almost came out of my nose.
Andy laughed and took the drink out of my hand. “Let me make you something else.” Andy started walking towards the kitchen and I followed him.
“Are you intentionally trying to piss me off?” I asked leaning against the counter as he grabbed a cup.
“What do you like?” He asked motioning to the different bottles of hard booze.
“Captain and coke.” I answered watching him as he made me a mixed drink.
“To answer your question, no I am not intentionally trying to piss you off. I’m the type of asshole that intentionally does things to piss people off but I seriously thought that this would be nice. You can meet the people you’ll be touring with and it’s a kind of celebration to welcome you to the tour. I didn’t know that this would piss you off.” He handed me my drink.
“Well next time it would be nice to have a little warning.” I replied taking a drink of my Captain and coke. Why couldn’t I stay mad at him? It seemed every time I was mad at him he would say something and I would just forgive him.
“I will remember that.” Andy said taking a drink from his own cup.“ So those aren’t your normal clothes that you wear.” He pointed out looking me over again.
I shook my head, “They’re my performance clothes. There is no way that I would wear this out in public.”
“Why not? I like them, they make you look sexy.”
“Because I want respect and you don’t get respect when you’re dressed like this.”I answered. "I don’t need to boost up my ego by having guys oogle at me.I’m perfectly fine with who I am.”
“So if you don’t want to attract attention to yourself, why do you dye your hair like that?” He asked pointing out my red hair.
“What are you talking about? This is my natural hair color.” I replied sarcastically. Of course my hair wasn’t natural it was red and ombred. I did it that way because I liked it that way and liked to be different than everyone else.Not that I was ever going to tell him that.
“I bet that’s a lie.” The guy who was talking with Austin earlier chimed in.I noticed that he had a British accent. “I bet the carpet doesn’t match the drapes.” He said to Andy but, was checking me out.
“Who says I have a carpet?” I answered and the British guy looked absolutely shocked.
Andy laughed, “She doesn’t.”
“How do you know?”T he guy asked.
“I forgot a towel one time and went to my room not knowing that Andy and Jake were home.” I answered.
“Oh…so you’re the hot roommate that Andy and Jake have been talking about.” The guy said. “I’m Danny by the way.The hot British dude that the guys have probably told you about.”
I shook my head, “Nope I don’t recall them ever talking about you.” I replied.
“Hey Natalie!” Jake yelled.
I looked over to see that he was in front of the television with a guitar hero guitar.
“What?” I asked walking over to him, leaving Andy and Danny.
“We’re having a competition. It’s your turn.” Jake said handing the other controller to me.
I loved guitar hero and was pretty good at it. “Okay.” I took the guitar and set my drink down on the table. “So who else is in this competition?”
“Jinxx, CC, Ben and Cam.” Jake said pointing to the guys that were behind up. “Jinxx and CC are from BVB and Ben and Cam are from Asking Alexandria.”
“So you’re telling me that I’m going to have to listen to you guys bitch and moan all during the tour when I beat you.” I joked.
“There’s no way you’re going to beat us.You’re a girl.” CC said.
“Oh really?” I said raising an eyebrow to him. “I bet you your bunk that I will beat all of you guys. ”Otherwise I would be stuck in a van the whole tour.
“Deal.” CC answered.
I smirked. These boys don’t know what they’re getting themselves into.
