I cannot believe I'm engaged. I call my dad who I haven't spoken to in like three years. He doesn't hate me or anything we just lost touch. The phone rings and rings until it goes to the answering machine. My dad were always home at seven. A few minutes after I hang up an unknown number calls. I answer timidly.
"Hello?"
"Hello, is this Kayleigh Rowe?" A very professional voice asks.
"Yes," I swallow.
"Ms. Rowe, your father has been in an accident. Your father is currently in the ICU wing. Will you please come up to the hospital? Your father is asking for you." Tears ran down my face.
"Yes," I sob.
We exchange goodbyes and I hang up.
"Babe?" Ash comes out of the bathroom and hugs me.
