"What?" I asked. How did he find out?!

"You need to tell him soon," Jinxx continued. There was no point in hiding it anymore; he obviously knew what he was talking about. "He still beats himself up over it."

"How did you find out?" I asked quietly. "Did Tara tell you?"

"I pieced it together," he replied. "Tara's been dropping hints, and I think Jake is also close to figuring it out."

"Jinxx, you can't tell anyone," I pleaded. "If my name gets out there, they'll find me again."

"Who?" he asked. I couldn't say any more. If they found me again, they'd kill me for sure.

"Helloooo?!" CC yelled, running onto the bus. "Oh, hey Katie."

"CC!" I smiled, happy to get out of that conversation with Jinxx. Of course, that's what I initially wanted to talk to CC about. But if Jinxx knew, and Jake was close to figuring it out, and then of course there was Tara... That was just too many people.

Jinxx looked at me pointedly before standing up and saying, "I'll leave you two to talk." He left us alone.

"Talk about what?" CC asked.

"There was something I wanted to talk to you about," I said quietly, refusing to make eye contact. "But I'm second-guessing because too many people already know."

"Hey, you can talk to me," he said, sitting down next to me. "Contrary to popular belief, I can keep a secret."

I kept my eyes glued to the ground, my voice barely above a whisper, "I'm Alex."

"What?" he asked. I could tell by his tone that he didn't know exactly what that meant. I had to elaborate.

"I'm Alex," I repeated, quieter than the first time. "Alexandria. Andy's little sister."

His eyes widened. He stood up and grabbed my wrist, pulling me towards the door.

"We have to tell him," he ordered.

"No!" I gasped, pulling my hand away. "I can't."

"You haven't seen what it's like for him," he countered. "Alex, he has nightmares; cries out in his sleep!"

"When did I say you could call me that?!" I snapped. I didn't like this. I was ruining the best relationship I had with anyone, and that was my friendship with CC. "Just because I'm here doesn't mean Alexandria Biersack isn't dead. She was kidnapped, raped, and beaten to death. The day Alex died was the day Katie Pierce ran away from her kidnappers."

"That doesn't change the fact that you need to tell Andy!" CC yelled.

"Tell me what?" Andy was standing in the doorway.

I panicked. There was nothing else I could do, so I ran. I dashed out of the bus, which was parked at a rest stop, and took off into the woods. I heard Andy yell after me, but I ignored him and kept running. I didn't stop until I found a little overhang of roots above a small ditch next to a tree.

I crawled in and pulled my knees up to my chest, beginning to cry.

Alright, time to talk about my life for a minute.

So, my boyfriend is SUCH A TEASE! He's, like, a full foot taller than me.
