A Melodic Sound

I had been upstairs in the bathroom for the last hour and fifteen minutes. Before I thought I looked descent with my natural hair and classic eyeliner. But now that I knew every single one of my idols and favorite bands would be meeting me for the first time, I had to make myself look gorgeous.

"Hey Melody can I come in?" Someone asked knocking on the bathroom door. I opened it to see none other than Ella standing there with bags in her hands. "Yeah sure. What are you doing here so early anyways?" I asked closing back the door. "Well Andy called and said that you had been up here for over an hour trying to get ready. So I grabbed all my stuff and headed over to see if I could help." She said smiling. I made a mental note to thank Andy later.

"Speaking of let's get started." She said. First she sat me on the counter and took of all my previous makeup. Then she got started. It didn't take her nearly as long as I did. She was done in about ten minutes. I went to turn to look in the mirror when she grabbed my shoulders. "Nope not yet missy. You have to wait until I'm completely done." She said plugging in her wand. "Wait your doing my hair too?" I asked smiling. "Well of course. I can't just leave you half done up." She said parting my hair into sections.

Finally after about fifteen minutes of hair pulling she said "Okay. Now you can look." I turned to see the prettiest girl I've ever seen in the mirror. "Oh my god Ella. You are too good." I said hugging her. "I know I know. I do what I can to be a good friend." She said giggling. Just as I opened the door Andy yelled up "Hey sweetie some of the bands are here. Come on down." I looked over at Ella. "I don't think I can do this El. I mean these are all my idols and favorite people in one room all at once." I said nervously. "Hey look you'll be fine. I promise. Just don't try to be something your not. That's where you'll mess up. Just be you and smile and I promise they'll be fighting over who gets to sit next to you." She said. "Now go have some fun."

I quietly and very slowly walked down the stairs. "There she is." Andy said reaching out for my hand. I quickly ran to his side. He wrapped his arm around me and said "Well Mel I'm sure you already know but this is Sleeping with Sirens, Asking Alexandria, A Day To Remember, and Of Mice and Men." "Well aren't you just gorgeous." Austin said stepping forward. I buried my face into Andy's chest. "Aw she's blushing." Kellin said smiling. I squeezed even tighter into Andy.

"I know how to loosen her up!" Ashley screamed across the room. He walked over and handed me a cup of some form of alcohol. "What is this Ash?" I asked quietly. "Grape juice. Just drink it so we can get this party started already." He said laughing. I took a tiny sip out of the cup and looked up at Andy. "It's actually pretty good." I said giggling. "Yay! Let's get this party started!" All the guys yelled.

Before the end of the night there were double the bands there than before. Andy and I walked around for a while as he introduced me to all the bands. It was really cool to meet all of them. It was weird though. After being a fangirl and watching every interview that came out for the past few years I felt like I already new everybody. Finally Andy dragged me out to the dance floor when "Done For You." came on.

"So are you having a good time?" Andy asked. "Actually yes. I really needed a night to just relax and talk with friends. And not to mention meeting all of my idols and favorite bands? This is perfect Andy." I said smiling up at him. Once the song ended and kissed my forehead and said "I'm gonna go get us some drinks."

As I was waiting on Andy I looked at my feet and just swayed to the music that was playing when another pair of shoes came into my sight. "Having fun?" The voice of the shoes asked. I froze instantly recognizing that voice. I slowly looked up and as our eyes met I almost fainted. "Oh my God. You're V-Vic F-Fuentes from Pierce The V-Veil." I said not believing I was standing in front of the lead singer of one of my most favorite bands. "That I am." Vic said laughing.

"Hey sweetie. Here's your drink." Andy said coming up behind me. "Oh thanks baby." I said turning around and kissing him. We stayed that way for a minute caught up in our love for each other. "I'm gonna let you guys continue and I'll see you later." Vic said laughing and walking away.

Just as Andy and I pulled away CC screamed "Hey guys let's play spin the bottle and truth or dare!" So after everyone had sat down in a circle on the carpet CC put a bottle in the in the middle of all of us. "I'll go first." CC said. He spun it and of course the bottle landed on me. "Truth or dare?" CC asked laughing. "Dare." I said confident. "I dare you to kiss Ashley." He said smirking. I looked back at Andy and he looked furious. I ignored it and crawled over to Ashley. He leaned in and closed his eyes. At the last second I moved and pecked his cheek. Ashley opened his eyes and frowned. I crawled back over to Andy and leaned my head onto his shoulder. "Sorry Ashey but I got the best set of lips in the world already." I said leaning up and kissing Andy. "That's my girl." He whispered.

Okay well..that happened.

I've been working pretty hard on making sure I've updated at least once a day for the past few days. So I would really appreciate it if you guys would tell me what you think. Reading comments really makes my day and I look forward to seeing how many comments I got when I get on this site. So even if it's just a small comment it's appreciated. I'm not trying to be mean guys!

It also really helps with what I'm going to do in the next chapter because it let's me know how you all think this story is going. Because if it's not worth reading then I'd rather not waste my time continuing to write it.
