A Melodic Sound

"I have a surprise for you tonight." Andy said smirking. "'What is it?" I asked bouncing up and down on Andy's lap. "Well I can't tell you what it is or it won't be a surprise silly." He said kissing my cheek. "Hm okay." I said standing up.

"But we do need to get going. I was thinking we could order some pizza to the house so you had plenty of time to get ready." Andy said grabbing my bag off the floor. "Sounds good to me. So what time is this shindig anyway?" I asked curious. "Well it starts at seven." Andy said opening my door for me.

Traffic was horrible. We left the girls house at twelve o'clock. It was now four o'clock. "Ugh I'm ready to be out of this car." I whined leaning my head against th window. "I know baby but we're almost there." Andy said rubbing my knee.

When we finally got home I wemt upstairs and jumped into the shower. I began to sing "Carolyn".

"Your not alone
We'll brave this storm
And face today
Your not alone."


When I was done performing in the shower I hopped out to get ready. I didn't even know what I was supposed to wear. I opemed the bathroom door and called down the stairs "Hey Andy what do I need to dress like?" I yelled. "Um well just wear like a party dress." He yelled back up. As soon as I went to close the door he yelled "But I'm sure you'll look beautiful in whatever you out on." I just smiled and closed the door.

After deciding on a skin tight purple and black dress I put on some four inch heels and did my makeup. I looked in the mirror one let time to check. For once in my life my makeup, hair, outfit, and shoes all matched and looked nice. I bounded down the stairs to find out what the big surprise was. When Andy turned around he stopped dead in his tracks. "I was right." He said looking me over. "What are you talking about?" I asked confused. "You do look beautiful." He said kissing my lips. I hit his chest. He pulled away confused. "Don't mess up the lipstick." I said with a serious face. He just laughed. "So do you wanna know your surprise?" He asked. "Yesss please tell me." I begged. "Well tonight the guys and girls are throwing us a huge welcome home party. And..all the bands from warped are gonna be here."
