We had been in the hospital with Andy for about 6 days now. He wasn't showing any response, or any signs of getting better. I never left his side, not to change not to eat, not for anything but to use the bathroom. I was constantly having anxiety and panic attacks. The guys would have to calm me down, but Ashley was always the most comforting to me. He was my best friend, and I love him like a brother.

I was laying with Andy with my eyes closed. Then the guys walked in. "I don't know what we should do man." I heard Jinxx say. "Well we can't just keep him hooked up to these machines forever, it's cruel." Jake said sadly. "Well what about the band and all the fans? Andy has saved so many of their lives…what if when their savior dies, they want to as well?" CC said sounding upset and worried. "I just don't wanna loose my brother and best friend." Ashley said. I could tell he was crying.

"And what about Melody? I'm pretty sure Andy is one of the only reasons she is still alive. She loves him so much, and he is the first person to ever love her like that, and show he cares for her….. I just don't know if she'll survive if we pull him." Ashley said. He came up and stroked my hair. "I don't wanna loose my little sister." CC said now crying. "None of us do C." Jake said. "I'm so lost. I just don't know what's right anymore." Jinxx said.

Ashley was stroking my hair again. He grabbed my hand that wasn't clung to Andy for dear life. "Hmmm?" I mumbled, acting like I was waking up. I opened my eyes and saw a red and swollen eyed Ashley smiling down at me. "Ashy?" I said stretching. "Hey beautiful. Sleep well?" He asked. "It was alright I guess." I said sitting up. "Hey sweetie we need to all talk about something." Ashley said squeezing my hand.

"Ok what is it guys?" I asked clueless. "W-we are thinking about pulling Andy." Jake said innocently. "YOU WHAT!? NO! YOU CAN'T DO THAT..WHAT ABOUT THE BAND AND THE FANS?!" I was furious. Why would they even consider this. "Hey shh. It's all gonna be ok." CC said trying to hug me. I pulled away. "NO! DON'T YOU EVEN SAY THAT TO ME CC! YOU ARE ALL TRYING TO KILL THE ONLY PERSON WHO HAS EVER WANTED TO BE WITH ME!" I screamed. "Hey look, he is our best friend and brother too!" Jinxx said raising his voice.

"I j-just can't live w-without Andy. He's all I h-have left." I said breaking down. I couldn't do this anymore. "Mel, what do you mean you can't live without him?" Ashley asked. "Exactly what I said…I don't wanna be here without him. I know you all will try and stop me, but someone can't watch me all the time." I said smirking. "W-why would you do that to us?" Jake asked looking hurt. "We love you too." CC said. "Your our little sister we never had." Jinxx said.

Those words pierced right through buy heart. How am I supposed to leave my "brothers" to be with the one I love? The reason Andy means so much to me, is because before I even met them…for years Andy's soothing voice coming through my speakers or my earbuds…had saved my life many times. Had made me stop mid cutting. His voice had made me feel like maybe someone actually did care in this world of hate. And now I may never hear it again...
